Bubba's pop! How nice he lived long.
So funny. They're hilarious creatures, but ours can wreak havoc on birdfeeders, plants, etc!
All I know is he is darling and I think those teeny ears are beyond cute!
LOL! Yep, bet you are right about that. ;) Man, I feel sorry for the birds and animals in this cold!! blessings ~ tanna

He does look older!
He's quite a bit devious rascal!
I like the idea of him being Grandbubba, and he probably is. Definitely older, judging by his silver highlights. :-)

Awwww - cute little bugger. You got some fantastic closeup shots!

Great pictures of this chubby little squirrel...looks like he has plenty of nuts stored up for the winter.
Heh! You talking to me? So what if I'm the grand Bubba? What does a GrandBubba have to do to get noticed around here?Yea, I'm the GrandBubba..., Yea, I'm tired... Do I git another measure of ration?Sorry, I couldn't help myself.....Hugs,JB
Hi Tex, That slight touch of grayness does give him the look of distinction. :) Have a good weekend! John

Could be some old relative of Bubba's. Definitely old(er)
I think he's a lifer! To him it's just another great day in the neighborhood- and he plans on a long-live-lived-well!
He is handsome and could very well be the patriarch of Bubba's lineage.. Looks well fed and lives a tough life, that's why he needs to rest.. Cute post and photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post.. Have a happy weekend!
Cute old fellow... Our squirrels here in MD are mostly gray with white and almost no brown.
he's a cutie
I've never seen a squirrel with a grey muzzle, he does look old and tired.
Such a swwety! Its looks like he is hiding behind the thin branch! :D
Looks wonderful, I like it. :)
Hey, they all look guilty.
That's one hefty little squirrel dude!
It looks sooo lovely!!!!
It is very cute.
I don't think I've ever seen one with that much gray hair.
Bubba Bubba, I love it.
he looks like a "grand" with all that gray around his face!!!and damn those branches, it just never fails. my birds have a spot they LOVE where one branch divides them in half!!!!
Bubba is awesome!
Hi Theresa .. some what ungainly .. but stunning photos ... of Bubba version 25? They are beautiful in their way .. and so fluffy now it's cold ... Cheers Hilary
You're shot a fine series of this grand Bubba. He looks the part and II think you're figured him out correctly. Have a good weekend!
We have a few of the "Bubba" types around here. You collected some nice shots of that old boy. Thanks T.
Needs to be neutered.
Cute! Love the clarity in your shots Tex, you take amazing photos, always so clear, colorful and just the right amount of macro. Naming your squirrels? I got a chuckle out of this 'cause I'd probably do the same thing! ;-)
Jaaaaa ....... so fun this squirrel:-) You could really nice dcihtbij come to take pictures;-)
Now that I can comment… :) He absolutely looks like a bubba, with a bubba life. Lucky him.
GrandBubba looks cold! He's adorable just like Bubba! :)
I love squirrels. Have always thought they were cute animals. This guy does have some gray huh? Love the photos!
Yep, the perfect Bubba for the day! Jeez! Even squirrels can look OLD!!!
Very cute, cute ears. I love fuzzy ears.
Awww! He's adorable! :)
Ah, and the years are creeping up on him!
How cute!I just love how he looks right at you, that picture is great!
Such a cutie!
Always a first over here at the Run*A*Round Ranch! I have never seen/noticed an old squirrel before! Of course, living in town as we do, there's probably a good reason for that. :)Lindy
what a cute squirrel!
I wouldn't say he has ALL his nuts stored, Linda, and I bet the ones that aren't, are darn cold!
What a wonderful and hard working little fellow. xo Catherine
I don't think I've ever seen an old squirrel but he definitely looks aged.
Oh, he is cute! A old squirrel! May he live long!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/?s=The+Adventures+of+Fuzzy+and+Boomer&submit=Search http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
Just look at that precious face.....
I like this beautiful squirrel, cute ...!
Bubba steelt de show ,wat is dit mooi.
My goodness, another huge squirrel! With a different tail he'd be a ground hog or a beaver.
He does look a bit worn out!
I've never seen a "venerable" squirrel before, but he sure looks like one.
T, Grandbubba has still got it!
Word's getting out about the good feed!
OMG! Another senior citizen...love it...:)JP
Cute critter! Nice shots of the little guy. I especially like the middle ones where he's looking your way.
He looks nice and healthy. I like that gray patch above his nose!
He is adorable !
I think I detect a lot of grey hair on GrandBubba. I bet he earned it.
He's a patriarch, alright.
One good lookin' feller! So dang cute!!Have a Beautiful Day, Theresa!!Peace :)
he definitely looks about the same size as Bubba. coloring and all - i wonder? we have a squirrel family that stinks around ... i know their marks - they have certain characteristic ... that you remember and such. ( :
How DO you know????
He is a beauty though.
It looks like Bubba is the man up in there! No doubt he's been busy! :-) Even has a touch of gray.
What a cutie!
he is beefed up for this cold weathergreat shots
Handsome little guy.
love the silver on his nose.
Nice captures! An elderly scamper rat--hmmmm......
I think this is the first time I've actually seen pictures of an elderly squirrel! Who would have known they get grey around the face like dogs do...
Wow! He does look like a senior! My son found a box turtle a few years ago. That poor turtle looked so old and would only move 10 feet a day in the yard.
Dearest Theresa,Oh my, you are now showing the world his 'Grand' parts! What a size those are; we've never seen such huge squirrels around here.Hugs,Mariette
He's a grizzled old fellow. He looks like he's earned his rest!
Oh, I think they could be related, yes! :)
Fabulous photos of this cutie.
Little guy does look like he's been around for a while:@)
Great shots of grandaddy squirrel Theresa. I love them all, young, old,.. they all so entertaining, just like all your comments.
Looks like Bubba has aged quite well! Handsome fella, but he does appear to need a good nap!
How fun! You must really be feeding them good!! Lol Or putting a little steroids in their water! Lol
Looks like he has a layer to keep him warm. Great shots. Ours are so entertaining to watch too.
He is too well nourished to be tired and as for the comment suggesting he may be feeling guilty.. well, I suppose it's possible :)
Pop's lucky to still be around. I think the crazy, young squirrels around here chase off the older ones (probably what happened to Notch).
This one is such a cutie (yes, they all are). He looks like a cuddler (no, not likely). ;)
sweet prosperous little fellow! ThanksALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral <3
Survival of the fittest. He's a beauty as squirrels go.
Cute fella. He certainly is turning gray.
He IS big, much bigger than Virginia's gray squirrels. I had to laugh at the silverback gorilla comparison. :-)
Very cute and adorable baby/bubba :)
That is pretty !!!!
Cute little guy!
So cute, but he does look like he want a winter time nap.
Amazing how it blends in with the environment! Great shots!
It's genetic! Or else all that good RunAroundRanch food. Or both.
He does look like a grand old squirrel...made me smile!
I am always amazed at 'their' size on such small animals. He does look like he is getting older...but looks like he has had a good life.
Bubba is so cute. :)
He is a cutie!
Söpö otus ♥
