Need hang up a napkin for them somewhere!
Oh, how I love my Wednesday morning Whistler Fix. =) blessings ~ tanna
They don't care about the Folger's can! It's a great place to eat. Great pictures. The one where one of the birds is still in flight is an especially great catch.
The first 3 photos are so cute. They are Synchronized Whistlers! I'm thinking you could enter them in the next Olympics. I know I'd rather see ducks enjoying a meal than some of the other stunts. :)
Great pics and these guys know a good eating place when they find it!!Great in flight shot too.Happy Wednesday!
They are simply adorable! And yes they seem to move in synch pretty often. I love these birds. :-)
the expression on the one in the first photo with the red can is priceless... i can't believe the difference in a coat of paint...
Nothing like a little Folgers in the AM, even for Whistlers. Do you sprinkle a bit for them in the platter?
At least they're well compensated for providing such enjoyment!
The crash landing style pictures always amuse me :-)
Never a dull minute when they come to feed. It looks like three's the limit on the platter.
Huge improvement with the paint.Would it be insulting to call that a "redneck" bird feeder?
Such wonderful shots.. Its been awhile since I have seen your Whistlers, I bet they are a blast to watch. Hugs~
Sweet! However I'm inclined to think that the swinging bird feeder is a much more profitable place to eat--the whistlers can prepare for the circus and eat at the same time.
Beautiful pictures of the Whistlers as always. They remain well balanced.Best regards, Irma
A hot cup of coffee and Wednesday Whistlers....great way to start off my day!!
Waiting to be served!
Have they ever reciprocated your hospitality?
I have to be gone today, but I needed the little shot of perkiness that I get from coffee and the Wednesday Whistlers. :-)
The whistling ducks enjoy that Folgers Can feeder.. I had a luahg at highplains comment above.. The Whistling ducks are a great way to start my day.. Thanks for sharing..Happy Wednesday.
The first two pictures of the duck butts reminded me of the old duck tail haircuts of the 50s and 60s. So funny. They sure do like that bird bath.
de plek is gewoon iedeaal.
hehehe...good thing "we" painted that ugly can ;)
You can almost hear them telling each other to "budge up there, buddy!"
love that in flight photo...they are all good.
Always entertaining, really enjoy the whistler Wednesdays!
Still only 3 Whistlers in the bird bath, I wonder will there even be 4!
Can't decide which is best, the butts view or the last peaceful one.
I like my Folger too in the morning. They are color coordinated with the red coffee can. Rather fitting that they perch on top. Have a happy whistler day. -27°C or -16.6°F. here this morning.Hugs,JB
Possessive little creatures! :DLindy
My favourite is #7great hairdo and an adorable look :)Have a great day【ツ】Knipsa
Good thing you do Whistlers on Wednesday so I know what day it is :) Lovely shots. They always look so smug.
Of course they do! Build it and they will come! Something lots of cold weather folks around here need to know. It's so important to keep feed and water up for our winter friends, not so easy as in good weather- and hey, bunnies need water too!
Someone said they are synchronized whistlers. I was thinking the same thing. Nice butts in the 2nd photo.
The last one looks like he is patiently waiting on the waitress to serve the food!
They obviously like the place atop the Folgers can.Their goofy looks always make the very interesting. I'm glad they hang around your place all winter. Is that right?
Ah, happy little buggers they are!!
Folgers quit sponsoring you? Guess you showed them!
Those Whistlers are always entertaining, eat then rest. Blessings Francine.
Wonderful pictures of the Whistlers,Tex!Like the flying shot!!Oh,i love those ducks!Dimi...
The whistlers are always so interesting! :)xoxo
Great pics, cute ducks!~
I don't think those Whistlers care what the feeder is made from. I think they appreciate what is in them.
I can't imagine another animal that you could photograph that would remain as interesting as these Whistlers.
Fabulous Whistlers, I love them.
Very cute series and I find the light magical in background!
Morning Tex. Oh Whistlers YES YES. BTW I love the folgers painted better:) Hug B
I love my visit to your Whistler's post. I especially love the last two images and your caption today!
I do like how you have put that birdbath together, very inventive. They look like they are enjoying it. Sweet and adorable Whistlers, as always.
And doing a good job of it, too. :-)
They do look pretty contented :)
I think they consider your grounds a bird play ground. Did you see the news today. A dogtakes the bus and he knows the park is second stop. Gets off. Usually his master goes with him. Not this morning. So he went ahead of his master. So that is why I said Park. Only I presume his is a dogs play park.
I just love those birds! Such great light in your photos too...late afternoon? It's good to be back! Hope you are well. :-)
ツÉ muito bacana vê-los assim de perto!...Tenha um maravilhoso dia!Beijinhos.Brasil.˚ه❀❀ミ

Love how they just sit down in the food. lol Love..love..love that you recycle!
So classy with the painted canister! ;-)
The whistlers have such a comic flair!
That Folgers container has really held up well, you are ingenious. I like the flapping wings.
Just lovely creatures :)))
They're so gorgeous... love them :D)
Wonderful series !
Look good and certainly are satisfied with their feeding. Regards.
Your Whistlers have given me something new to look forward to on Wednesdays!
Personally I think he wants to be first in line for a refill...forget holding it in place!...:)JP

I always enjoy Wednesdays!
I love the Whistlers! I wonder if they know how photogenic they are? :)
Ha..ha! Love these little guys! Can't wait till spring, so we can use our coffee can on our pedestal!
Ah Ha! A 24 hour coffee diner! Love it.Jane x
lovely birds.I see them last photos this looks like love birds for the chinese. Not sure about that. Saw some ceramic carvings that looked like these birds and usually the chinese give it to those who are getting married
Never ending cuteness!
They seem to think it is a normal thing to do to hang out in that feeder thing atop the Folger. They are so cute! By the way, last week you posted a cute shot of them. If I may, could I borrow the shot to do a drawing. I am currently doing a 30 day drawing challenge and soon I need to do a bird drawing.
Wednesdays are fun in your hood! I've always love that Folgers feeder you have too, creative and perfectly functional... A perfect pair in my book.
It is the "Oopsie daisy shot.
I love how they look when their feet are firmly planted and they're just looking around.
Hi Theresa, Some sweet cute smart ducks! Glad you treat them so well. I am certain they love the duck chow scratch seed handouts. Have a wonderful day tomorrow!
Whistlers seem to look OK with whatever the situation. I like it! Nice pics Tex!
I'm wondering how these birds balancing to stand on such a small surface. Science of nature :)Good capture.
Your Whistlers are sure getting allot of mileage out of that old Folgers Can and platter! :)
The next time you get your art on maybe it could be a whistler...or Bubba... ;)
The whistlers again... love seeing pictures of them!
Love always your whistlers photos!
ha, love that happy little guy just resting on his food plate :D
I would hate to have to pay your seed bill! :-)
Hugs and kisses . . .The Whistlers make my day, even if I am a day late!
How cute really! Better rest near food so that no need to move when hungry. :D
they are just beautiful! and what a great idea to do a feeder for them. I never would have guessed that was a painted coffee can!
Thinking there isn't much these goofballs don't enjoy!
These ducks will really never leaving you Theresa:-)))) They have it too good to you:-)
T, they've definitely made themselves at home!!
He managed to stay alone;))
What a great place to be a Whistler!
It's a tough job, but someone has to hold down the fort!
So cute, but they have no table manners standing in the food.
Love the way they settle right in, even if, as Gunilla says, their table manners could be a bit more refined :)
