Good Fences #49

I liked this place - two houses sharing one large driveway with barns at the rear of the property.
Two sisters who apparently raise miniature horses.
Some spotted in each of their front pastures.
Here's the link-up!

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.

Thank you!

I love this entrance. What a good idea and it's rather special that two sisters are not only sharing
their entrance but also have the same interests.

How nice that the two sisters get along well enough to live so close together! Well, they do have the miniature horses as a common interest so I'm sure that helps a lot!

Oh, how cute. Those are some good fences for such little captives.

I wonder how old the sisters were when they first started dreaming about having a shared ranch. I like to imagine that they were young. This is so interesting, and I like the banner type entrances which Texas seems to have so many of. (Excuse the preposition.)

Nice one! It sure has a clean-cut look. The no trespassing sign seems to really mean business.

Karen S. said...

Wow, now how cool is that? Very. It's also a perfect way to share a really nicely designed entrance, and of course if this were Minnesota I'd be thinking, yes share in the plowing of snow too! They have a rather eloquent sign protecting their place, compared to the handmade written one in my post today! Ha! Ha!

Keeping family close. That's nice.

Oops, of course in my haste I posted your link! But thankfully and hopefully I deleted that, and linked up again with my link! Yikes! More coffee please!

How sweet is that!!! I have a friend who is very close to one of her sisters. A house next door to hers just went on the market so the sister bought it. They planned to connect the two backyards and create a "playground" (pool, basketball court, etc.) for the two families. How lucky are these two sisters!?!

Maybe two always squabbling sisters that need a wide road and two fences between their houses to keep the peace ... or is it just a matter of privacy. Whatever is happening behind those fences, I really like the gate ... and who could tell they are minatures :) Great find, Theresa ...

The fence work looks very nice and well maintained.
