Amazing the wildlife that swims in your pond!
I sure enjoy the way you capture these behaviors for us. Wildlife is always interesting.
YOUR WRITINGS TODAY BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE. Alawys lovely to see a Gadwell
No peace, not even for a Gadwell.
A remarkable viaitor!
Thankfully it wasn't the Gadwell version of Psycho!
LOL peering through the shower curtain, that made us chuckle. Have a terrific Tuesday.Best wishes Molly
Morning, love the Gadwell swimming around the pond, so cute. Francine.
Really? Can't a fellow get a little privacy?
You watched pretty bathing duck, because I do not przerywałaś it during shooting. Regards.
You really are a voyeur, Theresa! :)But a good one - he didn't know you were there and we saw everything :DHave a fine day【ツ】Knipsa
We are all enjoying the views. Interesting to see.
Funny! In your defense though, that bath came out of nowhere!
Poor Gadwall is being stalked..lol! Great shots! Have a happy day!
What a cute duck Tex!!Wonderful pictures!Dimi...
noting like a peeping paparazzi.. i love the whirl pool he is creating with his splashing.
I smiled to see “I felt like a voyeur, peering through his shower curtain. I like the bokeh effect of the grasses.Yoko
hehehe, when we're around they have no privacy and should expect no privacy!!cool shots, like a peeping tom!!!
ja er moet af en toe toch gewassen worden.
Shame on you, ha ha ha, how funny. I think that I would have been doing the same thing. They are so pretty~
he's adorable! I just love seeing birds take baths. :)
Hehehe wildlife has no privacy rules :)
He's certainly enjoying himself!
Great series of photos!
Beautiful photos of this Gadwall.Best regards, Irma
I have never heard of this duck and looked it up. Well our lake doesn't have much vegetation and its range isn't really in my area. I learned that our diving ducks are home free and not in jeopardy of loosing their catch to a Gadwell.
A fine action series of this duck cleaning and preening up. The series have a good sense of motion.
Haha! Love the fourth photo!
What a cutie!!!
At first I was like, do I want to know what happened next, then the shower curtain added too, I was really, hmmm hope it's going to be a happy ending! YES! Hooray. I really liked peeking in too!
Fascinating series !
Hello greetings and good wishes.Lovely photos of the duck swimming around and having good fun.Best wishes
A happy duck. Thanks for the tip but I think I've deleted all my used barn material and haven't shot anymore after that last barn blog we jumped ship from.
He's having a grand time!
We've had hardly any Gadwall about this year so I enjoyed the picture of yours.
He looks like quite the little exhibitionist.
Wow your so lucky to have Gods creatures love your place.Never a bored moment at your place. Can you also sit from your chair to look out to them also in afternoon?
Anyone that bathes in public is open season for photographers...great series!!
What does a duck have to do to get some privacy around here?
I do like the Gadwall and I love your pictures too.
What a pretty little duck!Linda ❤⊱彡 http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.comhttps://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/sherlock-boomer

Lovely photos!Ducks are so cute :)
How fun to see him splashing about! He's probably getting ready for courting season. :)Lindy
If he needs privacy he's probably in the wrong place.
He certainly knows how to luxuriate in his bath.
Beautiful photos, wonderful duck! I love these pictures!
Your series of photos and comments gave me a smile. Thanks Theresa :)
He looks like he's having a blast out there!
A great series of photos. That pond gives you a lot of action to watch.
Bird watcher...voyeur...it is all just a matter of perspective.Cute little guy, was he all alone?
You had to watch for a long time to get this series of shots. Good ones.
Geez, can't a fella take a shower in private once in a while? :) (Guess we are voyeurs, aren't we?) Fun to see these.
A little privacy please! ;-)
Great bathing shots!

Lovely Gadwall, you can't beat it.
Dearest Theresa,Lovely photos! Need to shampoo my hair... so I know how happy your Gadwell must have felt. Had a much needed rest of 12 hours. Yesterday I was too exhausted after driving my 120 miles back and forth to therapy...Hugs,Mariette
Poor fellow, no privacy at all! :-)
He's so handsome, how can you not watch.
Hi Theresa,I learned a new name today, in addition to smiling a bunch, looking at the photo sequence. Have a Beautiful Day!Peace :)

Better than watching tv Tex. I think he was showing off.
If he wants privacy, tell him to stay behind the grass!Beautiful shots.
He can always fly away if he feels that his privacy has been invaded, hahaha.Maybe he's just teasing you.Hugs,JB
Can you get locked up for that ? great set of photos, peter
LOL and now here we are all becoming Peeping Toms along with you.

Never mind peeping Tom... What we have here is a peeping Theresa. Ha ha! That's so funny you thinking you were invading the duck's privacy!
Duck bath spying--LOL! ;)
Another delightful duck pic to brighten up my day :)
He just didn't know the paparazzi was gonna be there!
He seems to be having a good time.
Great photos, great piece . . . At first I thought the "innocent enough" might lead to something sad happening to the duck . . . until the "shower curtain piece and I realized it was just you having fun . . . and doing some "peeping!"
He didn't mind you watching!!!!...:)JP
Love the wintry feeling and colors in these photos Tex!
Great photos!! So glad it was just a bath and not something tragic. At first I got worried!!Smiles, CM
Wow! I don't think I've ever seen color on these ducks. That's a good looking duck. Elegant and a nice visitor to the pond. I don't think I've seen this one at your pond before.
He is very handsome. I don't believe I have ever seen one. Great shots!
ha! don't feel too bad, I would have peeked on him too to get such amazing shots!
Wonderful series of shots, Teresa!
What a lovely scene on the water !Beautiful shots ! Greetings !
that's funny, just wanted to get all her feathers wet!!
Such fun watching them bathe. I bet he had a suspicion you were there ;)
Awwwwww he is shy
You do know that all the ducks are talking about you--that "woman with the camera"! :-)
