Beautiful, nice pictures.Have a nice sunday.
Just dropped in for lunch. Cool visitors.
It must have been a treat to get the pair together. Is there a woodpecker hole nearby?
Looks great, she is busy with food and he is watching.
Even the tail comes in handy
Nice woodpeckers! They are very similar to the one who is here too :)
Mr. has a beautiful head color.
Heard these guys pecking on the house yesterday. I didn't fill the feeders this winter as we were heading out for so long. I do miss seeing them at the feeders tho.
I love to watch the Redbellied Woodpeckers.. They are another one of my favorite birds.. Great shots of your clingers.. Happy Sunday!

We have flickas? I think a bit bigger, they hardly ever stay in one place long enought to take a picture.
Don't you love them! Those are some wonderful pictures Tex!
Boy! I would love to have Woodpeckers at my feeders. Thee are great shots.
I like the last photo where the tail is at a ninety degree angle to hold him on the feeder. Beautiful birds.
Good alternating camera work! It's frustrating not to be able to get them both in on one shot, eh? But you captured some great, sharp images. I saw one of these for the first time on a walk last spring. It was a treat.
They are a delightful happy couple, so happy to see them dining at the feeder and not knocking on my wood sided house!
Got a peckerhead pounding away at my hanging suet this morning too. He's beautiful.
I like the shift in focus from Mr. to Mrs. Nice sharp images of this pretty bird too.

They are beautiful and colorful and they do seem to enjoy the dinner you served!!
Woodpeckers are hanging about....
Those are just lovely photos. I haven't seen a female around here but just the males. But not this year.
Nice shots- and great focus on each. Woodpeckers are a rarity around here. They are so pretty.
They are very pretty!
Interesting! I always see them going for the suet, not the seeds.~
Do they often come in pairs? And would they have a nest yet or it is way too soon? Lovely to have the 2 feeders there, and one final thought? maybe a courting couple.
these pics are so clear! I love seeing all the details on these beautiful birds!
I love woodpeckers, it would be so special to get to see them at a feeder. They are not birds I imagine eating seeds, but I did once have a Downy on my suet feeder last year.
I love the way Mister W. uses his tail for balancing! Neat pictures.
I do see these on occasion and I love it when I do.
Just hanging out.
Oh my goodness! Could they be more beautiful? Wow!

Dearest Theresa,Don't you love them and also their talking! Marvelous photos.Hugs,Mariette
Such a good looking couple! They look smaller and more fragile than I think of woodpeckers being.
Beautiful birds! Love the red coloring!! How many bird feeders do you have set up on your property? I have always wondered.
These birds have the reddit bellies I have ever seen on this species. The red most often is almost impossible to see.
Cuter than Clingons. :)
Cute pair of buddies.
Wonderful captures. They are having a great meal.
Absolutely super photos - so clear. Thanks for sharing them with us.Have a good week.
What a lovely couple.
They are so beautiful! How lucky you are to have them at your bird feeders and being able to watch and photograph them! Truly lovely!
Hi Theresa, Well you know that I love woodpeckers! Glad you are so generous to the little sweeties! Have a great coming week!
Bon appetit to them :)
Woodpeckers are so accustomed to hanging on the side of trees to eat that it probably never even crossed their minds that they could just stand like normal birds while dining at the Run*A*Round Ranch bird feeders!
Beautiful! I've never caught a pair in the same shot.
Great pictures of the woodpeckers. Just curious, how to know the difference between male and female woodpeckers?
great pictures. I love woodpeckers. I've only ever seen this kind once before myself.
Such a nice looking couple! :-)
Dearest Theresa; Oh, the woodpecker couple is so lovely in your photographs♡♡♡ I like the way you focused differently. And how amazing that they can crutch the bar and edge like that; haha, acrobatic to me.Aren't they beautiful birds♬♬♬ Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

Great snaps of "the Clingers!"
So beautiful a bird. You are so lucky to have so lots of beautiful birds.Wishing you a nice Tuesday.Karin
I love the green herons and they eluded me for years ... Last summer we finally spotted some in the state park. Theresa, if I were as talented as you, I would be drawing all of the time. I am waiting for some drawings of the Whistlers ... but in the mean time ... I would love this drawing of the Green Heron. Andrea @ From The Sol
She's even prettier than he is. Unusual for the bird world for the female to outshine the male. ;)
They were lunching together. Great photos!
Tiene unos colores preciosos!!
Nice to see them enjoying dinner together! :)Lindy
Beautiful series of photos.
Nothing like a dinner date!
I like how they use their tails for balance. Wonderful shots of these beauties!
They are beautiful birds! Great shots, Theresa!
Such an attractive couple.
All are great T but I really like the last one with his tail giving him support and balance.
Love the woodpeckers!
No woodpeckers here. Can you post a video of them pecking? With audio?
Fascinating the way Woodpeckers use their tail to help cling on to things.
Gorgeous bird and colors, have a nice week.http://louisette.eklablog.com/grebe-huppe-podiceps-cristatus-a114631484
These pictures are really envious Theresa. I find this woodpecker really wonderful to see. How lucky you are that this woodpecker also occurs in your garden. Great!
