Whistlers on Wednesday 113

One foggy December day, the Whistlers were sitting around all over the fencing. I took shots through the fog, then processed them to 'bump up' the color and contrast and rather liked how dreamy they turned out.
Regular fog shot
"Colorized" version

The two on the gate posts made me laugh.

Such goofy ducks!

One lands on the gate and the gate post guards don't like it!

Oh, I laughed at the photo of the 2 on the gate posts....it reminded me of all the Good Fences posts you do with those elaborate Texas gates!

Watching these and other beauties never fail to amuse me, they are so natural and free. Plenty to learn from them too.

Evidently, the Whistler that landed on the gate didn't have the correct the password. o.O

A fine Wednesday part of the whistlers. I think they have a fine sense of humor. The two on the gate posts seem to support that idea. I like the colonized version as well as the foggy one.
