He was determined! It's nice to know the Whistlers will be here on Wednesday!
They are goofy but still so darn cute! I always enjoy Whistling duck Wednesday...Great shots, enjoy your day!
They must be starving if they keep trying to get to food that's not for them :)Theresa, you must feed them better! Go back to that cute store and buy some more! ;)These ducks will get into my dreams one day, and I hope it won't be a nightmare :DHave a real fun day【ツ】Knipsa
BOL some failed acrobatics there. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
How unusual to see ducks try to reach a bird feeder! FUN!
It sure looks like it would be VERY hard for them to get IN the feeder! But, obviously, they can! Cute!! The guys on the ground are the smart ones. hee hee. blessings ~ tanna
They are so comical! I wonder if he had a hard time getting out of the feeder also?
Your birds are so greedy... eaters
Those ducks are just like people - goofy-wise and how they eat their grub, too.
Oh my goodness
As if you don't give them enough, they have to go after the bird feeders! Reminds me of my cats, always going from one bowl to the next, to see if the other cat has something better when it's all the same. Such silly critters, yet we love them dearly.
Hi Tex, Always enjoy the whistler series. Nice work. John
Oh those whistlers. Greedy guys.Yet so prrrrrrrrrrrrty.
They look a bit precarious on the limbs of the tree, don't they? It must be the challenge.
Looks like a balancing act to me, how adorable!
they are so silly! love the second to the last shot especially!
No feeder seems to be safe from the wrath of the whistlers! I can only imagine what the other "normal" birds at the feeder have to say after an encounter with a voracious flock of whistlers...
But the squirrels make it look so easy.
Ah, the dreaded orange-beaked squirrel :)
So goofy! They're the squirrels of the bird world.~
lol! I've never seen that before!
Beautiful Whistlers, are everywhere.
Hilarious! I think he learned those antics from the squirrel!

And I just have to contend with one pesky squirrel.
I thought she did not succeed, but it worked. Regards.
today they ALL made me laugh.. love that stretched neck and the two on the limb are really funny. who knew ducks could be clowns
Ah, love those goofy, neck-stretching Whistlers!! Always a great start for the day!!!
They certainly are resourceful!
That whistler trying to get into the feeder from the top is quite a few IQ points lower than the other ducks! :-)
How funny and wonderfully determined are these greedy gluttonous gulpers. Can you get photos of them exiting the feeder?
They are such favorites that I forgive them for being such goofy ducks. :-)
Talk about sticking out your neck!
The other two are thinking "How'd he do'd that?"
The cardinal looks so pretty and matches the silly (and gorgeous) Whistlers!
Oh geesh.. they leaned from the squirrels. This quacked me up!
bwa ha ha. I can't believe that. They're as bad as the squirrels. (What am I saying...nothing is that bad)
Interesting to see the ducks squeezing into the feeder. Am curious to see how they are going to take off from the feeder.
I think those ducks range right up there with the Squirrels!Linda ❤⊱彡 http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.comhttps://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/sherlock-boomer
Well, it looks like a good challenge with a nice reward at the end! Those Whistlers are smart!
The message spreads even wider " Call in here, food on platters for everyone, " this is so funny.
Yes, Pretty sequence, fun!
These guys just always make me smile. They actually deserve their own reality show, and all though I'm not a fan of reality TV I would watch their show!
These guys are such characters, Tex! Always fun to see. ;-))

Those Whistlers seem a mischievous group of birds don't they. Makes me smile.
T, silly ducks!
I do not recall seeing the little claws on their feet before. They look especially goofy in the feeder.
Goofy or not, they are utterly adorable ducks!
LOL! I'm not sure if that's stupidity or just sheer will!
Looking at him packed into the feeder in that second to last pic kinda reminds me of, well... me trying to get my work pants on this morning:@)
Haha! Nice try!
It looks so funny when they are up in the three! :)) With those feets!
Looks like they have been taking lessons from some squirrels on how to get into a feeder!
I bet they have you laughing every day...I know i never see a post about them without I am smiling when I get done!

I think they've been watching the squirrels too long! :DLindy
Really funny series of whistler antics!I wonder how many whistlers fell from the branch before they figured out how to get inside the feeder?
How hilarious! And I love their pretty pink bills.
Love the big, fat whistler perched right in the feeder. They'll do anything for a free lunch! ;-)
Their big feet look so funny on those branches. Clown feet!
Webbed feet on small branches look so ungainly.
It's very beautiful.
Goofball. He needs to breed with a swan (or giraffe) so his offspring have better chances. Hope all is super with you, twg, and that you're seeing signs of spring! Hugs!
What are also a bunch of naughty lol .....
