Looking Forward!

Looking forward to sharing photos like these, again, soon! (These are from last year, but I needed to wash the snow scenes from my screen.)

Okay, these next couple I took yesterday. Spring is definitely coming back to Texas!

That's a lot of caterpillars - we sometimes gets masses like that - you can hear them moving!

What would bring so many caterpillars on top of each other like that? Amazing photo. Your flowers are beautiful. Your ornamental pear is bursting to bloom. Ours way down here only has buds.
The Indian Paintbrush is trying and the clover is popping up all over our yard.

these shots are the best ever Theresa, i sure hope you did print them off and keep them in your home for viewing over and over. you should share Baron and Zim shots with animal lovers for sure. Baron looks really happy. you go girl! have a fabulous week!!

We get those tent caterpillars every few years. I've come home with them on me, too. (shudder) But I love your pretty spring and summer pictures. Yep, Spring starts on officially on Friday! :-)

I have seen a few along the roadsides, but not as pretty as yours. Spring and summer my favorite times of the year. Working in my yard today as it is nice. However, rain due rest of week.

ornamental tree is beautiful. today here in northern Indiana it's supposed to get up to 70 degrees but then the next four or five days will get up to only 40's. my body is craving constancy.

I had to chuckle at your washing off the snow pics. :-) We've had some warm days, and the tree pollen is making its rounds. :-( But I haven't seen any blooms yet.

Beautiful snaps! The Bradford Pears are blooming here too and soon they will make a mess when the wind blows but a welcome home.

Sometimes a little sunshine and color is all it takes! I was counting on overcast skies today for a photo shoot, but instead we got bright sunshine. I'm feeling surprisingly happy about restructuring my day to include some time in the sun. Must be spring!

I can understand the need for a " Springtime Fix" lovely flowers in the grasses, and the pear tree, we have a Weeping Silver Pear, totally ornamental, and the flowers are similar. Enjoy and sunshine that comes to you today.Down here we have some rain, cyclone Pam has gone, no updates on the Chatham Islands yet, at 5.30 a.m. Tuesday 17th.

I know those caterpillars well. they are horrible.
very strange to see them all clumped together . they have stings .. They live up in the big pine tree .

The caterpiller shot is amazing. They look like they are all zipped up, or have gold studs on their backs. The image is, like a work of art. I like the tiny one at the bottom.:)

The amount of moth caterpillars is pretty impressive. CH goes around and sprays or burns all the web tents he can reach in our trees. Love the wildflower pictures and I can't wait for the pear trees to bloom.. going to be awhile.

Lovely series! Enjoyed each one of these images.

We had a taste of spring yesterday - it was 74 degrees and very windy, and we got to see the Sandhill Crane migrating north. Today, it is mid-40s and windy again (what it should be for this time of year here.) Hopefully we're done with the snow. :-)

I have seen this very catapeller phenomenon before and clusters of them cocooned together, pretty amazing right?
As for your dog in the pasture (Baron)? ....we had a black cat named Baron :) beautiful country shots.
