They don't seem to mind at all. They say it's nice weather if you're a duck.
Real weather for ducks! I love the close-ups of your Whistlers; it's the first time I noticed their blue-tipped bills for the first time! Have a great day!
The whistlers always bring a smile to my face!
It must be nice to have so many willing subjects to photograph.
They're so cute! Maybe the mud makes them more beautiful. I use a mud face pack sometimes too. :-)
They ARE cute! And it's muddy around here, too. Have a great Wednesday.
Funny, I guess I the ducks do not mind the mud.. Or a mud bath! They are still cute covered in mud.. Great series, happy Wednesday!
We are expecting some rain as well towards the end of the week, but I doubt that these lovely creatures will show up to enjoy the rain :)MersadMersad Donko Photography
I had a similar comment to Georgette's: they don't seem to mind at all!We have mud AND leftover snow....how many days til spring???
Ducks love sloppy.
The ducks look very happy about the weather.
Poor little fellas. We'll hope that Arthur's right. They sure are cute, muddy or not.
They are cute.
A couple of them look like they're really enjoying the water!
Wonder if muddy water is kinda like chocolate milk to them:@)
The better for splishing and splashing in. I always leave with a big smile when I see your Whistlers.
Spring is sloppy, but what a wonderful season!! New life!!
Bet they're messy eaters as well, but as cute as they are who cares?
Makes me think of that saying, "nice weather for ducks." And yes they are cute, muddy or not. :-)
I'm pretty sure the ducks don't mind the rain at all, in fact I'm pretty happy with it right now too, since it really helps out our drought situation.
Even in all this mud they are still cute. :)I like the legs picture, looks like it's wearing leggings :))Have a beautiful day【ツ】Knipsa
Amazing pictures.Photo 5 and 17 are my favorite.
I wonder if it occurs to them that stepping into the water makes it muddy?
And I'm sure they love it!
interesting series... seems they are washing their legs in the bird bath to turn muddy
It's ducks weather. I love the 2nd to last one best today.
Mud glorious mud we have enough of that over here. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
I like it ;)
You have got many friends.. ;-))) Love it..
You have so many critters on your ranch, i'm still trying to figure out which ones are your favorites.
They need your 'longhorn' boots. Heck, ya got 5 pairs. Share?
I have a new saying.. Happy as a duck in the muck...
They need a separate bathtub and drinking fountain! Although i doubt they care much, and would bathe in both and drink from both. Funny how the animals don't mind and we do.
That water is only for strong stomachs!
Orange-billed cutie pies! It's snowing here. Sigh.
These little critters are so durable and stick to their guns messy weather or sunshine! Your photos are always so beautiful. I am sorry I can not stop by more often but I am rearranging my blog stops so you will be at the top of my list! Happy Hump Day! Anne
Over aandacht heb je niet te klagen.
Interesting picture series!Have a nice day Crissi
They are a happy bunch! I adore that last photo most of all, so cute.
Always look forward to getting my Wednesday fix! They look so happy to take a bath, almost like they're smiling :)
They don't seem to mind the muddy water for drinking or wading. They are a cute group of ducks.
Those whistlers are simply adorable! xo Catherine
Great catch, pretty bird!
they need boots, you may have an extra pair or two you could lend them ;)don't let them in the house, they will make a real mess ;) :)awesome captures, really nice details in these close-ups, nikon???

Those relaxed ducks don't realize there are so many people enjoying them ... Thanks for the wonderful close-ups!

I think they are even tired of this winter! I sure am! It's winter here again and very cold with a nasty wind and snow.Linda ♪♫❤http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.comhttps://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/sherlock-boomer
Morning, love the drinking pictures, so sweet. Blessings Francine.
Looks like you were spared the freeze.
Next thing you'll be buying them little rain ponchos and galoshes.
The Whistlers seem happy with any weather. These are some interesting birds and it's neat to see all their behavior. Thanks for sharing, Tex.
I love these guys and gals.
Now we know why there is mud in the drinking water. It's a great foot bath!
Nice collection of photos, showing the Whistlers' lifestyle, Theresa. In addition to whistling, I wonder if they like The Blues - in particular, "Muddy Waters"? :)Have a Beautiful Day!Peace :)
They're so beautiful and adorable, dirty or not. And they obviously don't mind, so they're not divas! :)
Ah, do love those Whistlers -- dirty beaks and all! Fun pics as always!!
You have caused me to fall in love with these ducks.I wish there were fewer predators and I could stock them at our big pond.
Apparently no one taught them no to drink and bathe in the same water. xo Laura
Definitely still cute!
Pretty amazing, I LOVE 'em.
They are just the sweetest and your pics are great. I've enjoyed catching up on your posts I've missed being gone. Love the rain boots and the crow is a handsome bird.Have a great day.Hugs, CM
Wonderful photos my friend. Hugs, LindaMy Happy Place
Muddy Waters was one my favourite blues singers. Play the Whistlers a track and see if they get in the groove.
They all seem to be so happy, maybe a little part of them has been saying " When will the mud arrive" And how they balance, lovely series, as you always post.
I think they used the water to take their bath!
They're certainly happier in mud than my dog is!
Oh ! They are so cute :))Greetings
They are so beautiful! Nice photos :)
Must you wash your feet? I'm trying to get a drink here.
They seem to be very much enjoying the sloppy/muddy conditions.
Reminds me of being a kid, and playing in the mud. So FUN! :)xoxo
I love your ducks. What about sending me one to Poland
I can sure relate to the mud, even though I try to stay out of it. My poor daughter lives in an almost constant mud hole, with dogs tracking it in constantly, not to mention the kids. Good thing your Whistlers keep the mess outside, but I'm sure your dogs keep you hopping.
They are so fun! I bet you had your new boots on for the muddy day.
As I've said before, cute and goofy.I have to smile each time I see these ducks.
They are cute no matter what the weather! Aren't you glad they can't track it all inside? Lol!
Whistlers certainly have a multitude of colors. Really like your ducks T.
Since they're water proof, i doubt rain bothers them too much.
T, your Whistlers are always very entertaining!
Looks like they don't mind the weather.
See, if they were real ducks they'd be in the water staying clean! ;-)
Appears to be the type of weather that only a duck could enjoy!! I'd gladly trade your rain for our snow about now though...
You have captured quite funny moments :) Seems they enjoyed it!
Ha ha, so delightful. They even wash off the mud in the water bowl - how clever they are ;D)
These guys can really get messy!
They don't seem to mind the sloppy weather.
Those whistlers are so adorable!
Nothing Spoils their cuteness.
It's very sloppy here, too, with all the melting snow.
Definitely still cute, even with the muddy bills!
sloppy & still cute! It was 75 here today!
Water off a ducks back... eh!
Doesn't seem to be bothering them!!
I agree - definitely still cute. I love how the one was cleaning off her legs by standing in the water bin.
Just like John's cows---why shouldn't we stand in our drinking water?
these cuties are so fun to watch!wonderful photos. xo
I think they do enjoy the mud, its play time and after that they will dip themselves in the water to wash away the mud.
Dearest Theresa,That kind of rain we had till Monday... very muddy looking but it dries up soon. Yesterday and today was warm with 70s and sunny. Spring is advancing quickly. Love your pet whistlers!Hugs,Mariette
We're thirsty thirsty ducks!~
Judging by the muddy water it looks like they've been using the bird baths for their intended purpose!
I missed my fix yesterday! As Miss B would say, "GOT IT!" ;)
Them and their muddy buddies are going to get scolded by their moms when they come in the house like that!
I can't get enuf of these cuties...
Thirty-one below zero again here this morning... yesterday we stayed at zero all day! But we have a promising warm up in our future, and it won't be long before the sun is creating messy mud from melting snow here! We're ready for mud. :)
Cute? They are adorable....muddy or not... Smile...
It is a muddy mess here with all the rain sleet snow and ice...crazy Texas weather
CH and I don't have web feet but we do like to go out and slop around in our farm boots.. :)
Well you KNOW I think they are cute! I love their silly expressions. I think they love mud about as much as a pig does. I have never seen such picking, pecking and slurping. :)
Really great photos! So coulorful, despite the rainy weather :) How strange with the weather by the way....here we have spring way to early and by you it is the opposite... I hope you get some nice weather soon :)
