Just returned to blogging and so glad I found your site. The only thing better would be to see these beauties of nature in real time. Can't wait to share them with the RG (retired gardener).
They act as if they're afraid to get wet :))Can I please have that gorgeous rusty can? ;) :DHave a beautiful day【ツ】Knipsa
The whistlers have really great balance. Natural comedians.
They should join the circus: tight rope walkers!
Happy whistlers! All in gymnastic training!
Have a Quacking Good Wednesday, everybody!~
Beautiful shot... In amazed at hoe the can stand/sit on those fence rods, with their flat feet! Swimming in the water? Perfect...smile..
That's a mighty fine balancing act there.
Cute and they look funny balancing on the fence. I always enjoy seeing them.
Super great pictures!nice DayCrissi
Whistlers!!!!!!! I really am amazed they are able to balance and walk on the gates/fence with those big, floppy, pink feeties! I guess they have a pretty strong grip.I have a dancing robot now that I proved I am not a robot.. LOL!
Some fine balancing act, eh? :)Have a Beautiful Day!Peace :)
Such a treat, to see them from all angles. I especially enjoy the "Fearless Four" ... or maybe they're a comedy team.
I thought you were going to say, or have a picture of them sliding down that log leaning on the fence. Water park ride?!?
They looks so happy! It seems they have good balance :)
They sure love to balance on things. I laughed at the last picture, though, of the bathing beauties right off the sore. Love these guys. :-)
Oh thank you for the smile today! In that second photo, they look like they're having a very serious discussion of the 'To slide, or not to slide' variety, lol.
Those birds are so funny, as their feet don't look like the usual "grasp ahold of a fence" feet!
Morning, those Whistlers are always up to something, never a dull duck.Blessings Francine.
What a balancing act!
silly ducks (reminds me of an old cereal commercial)
They are just the cutest! Looks like they have a fun life. Lol
Another fine post for Whistler Wednesday. Thanks Tex.
Dearest Theresa; So adorable and funny whistlers♡♡♡ Got the meaning of "antics" (^_^)ｖSending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
I had no idea whistlers had morning calisthenics or that they were in YMCA classes daily...
Itt seems they will perch almost anywhere, love their antics. Thanks for Whistlers to start the day with a smile.
The Whistlers are enjoying the fence Tex!!They look so happy!!!Wonderful pictures!Dimi...
The Whistlers have a good balance. This is a good gymnastic training.
I thought that the goofy Whistlers were going to slide down that rough slide. It would be hard on the plumage.Happy April Fool Day.Hugs,JB
This reminded me of the western style, fence-sitter t-shirts from the late 80s. :)
Well, that is something I've never seen ducks do! Learn something everyday.
So cute! The last photo brings to mind, "Okay guys what shall we do next? She's still has her camera ready!"
Wonderful shots, full of comedy and drama, TexWis! Sorry to have fallen behind. The best laid plans... but all is well. Will post soon (I hope).
Ah, love those Whistlers!!
They are clear masters at fence walking. A great, action loaded series.
What balance--what poise!MB
I'm always surprised at the balance web footed ducks/birds. They were posing for you!
Wish I had their balance.
Wonderful photos, beautiful!
What are they doing, gazing at what?
Nice photos ! I bet they think that is a Whistler jungle gym to play on lol !
They sure do love your place. Do you feed all of them or do they find other things to eat?
There were five on the fence and the little one said "Step over, step over". So they all stepped over and one fell off...
I like the two goofy looks at at the timber sticking through the fence.
These ducks are so entertaining; it must be like having a car full of clowns parked next door.
Goofy but adorable!
I know I've said it before, but I do LOVE your Whistlers! They seem to be such comics!
What great shows these guys put on and thank you for sharing them with us. Our birds are quite dull.
It never occurred to me before to wonder how webbed feet would grip a fence rail!
They sure have a great Zest of entertainment for you and us. They sure make me chuckle.
a little bit of "ducky see, ducky do"!!!!
...my my...these are the worlds cutest ducks...it's like they're thinking there's more ducks, just like them, down there under the water...do they hang out on your property all the time?
What a balancing act! So fun to watch them in their acts. So cute!
Never a dull moment with this bunch.
I agree with Mildred.DOn't they know those feet were made for swimming?
I think this are the only ducks who can walk fences! COOL!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.comhttps://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/sherlock-boomer

OK, that it just weird. Maybe they were bored?
I love how they are just standing around in the water, on the fence wherever they want. Silly birds.
Funny shots, it,s look like a football, team, jjj I also like the light.Great weekend, here in Spain we have a long fiesta weekend.
I so love their feet on the fence, Tex! ;-))
Whistlers must be just plain daffy. You seem to get all kinds of photos where they are doing silly things.
I wish I was one of them. They look like they are having a blast!
Hi Theresa, What cuties! Fence sitting, and wading in that cool pond seems like the plan of the day for the Whistlers. Have a very nice afternoon and evening today!
They are sooo cute.
Such goobers! They certainly provide hours of entertainment.
Goofy is so right, lovely ones with the pale turquoise reflection in the water.
What a balancing act! I love all the photos. You take awesome shots.

What are they looking at, I wonder...
Those Whistlers are comedians. They can't walk the rail with those big feet!
Kind of like having your own chinese acrobatic act in your backyard! Always good for a smile....
First pic, the guy on the left is like "dude, really???" :@)
Oh, good grief! It's a good thing they're pretty cuz they ain't always too bright! :-)
Oh my gOsh, they are as talented as they are cute ....tightrope walkers. So wonderful.

Nice ducks - I'd really not get to work most days if I had these in my garden!Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
What silly ducks!
goofy is right.
would make a wonderful good fence post too. :>)
Those whistlers seem to like to be out of the water more than in--LOL! :)
Hahaha ... They have quite good slide. But maybe they don't know how they have to use it :D
Amusing seeing their activities... last one is pretty cool and looks like ducks dancing
Really very nice and playful pictures of my favorite duck:-)
They're so entertaining- I'd probably never get anything done because I'd spend so much time watching them.
I think they were practicing their acrobatic skills on this day!
Too funny, walking on the fences. Kind of reminds me of the grandkids--if there's a curb or wall to balance on, they have to do it.
