Just returned to blogging and so glad I found your site.
The only thing better would be to see these beauties of nature in real time.
Can't wait to share them with the RG (retired gardener).

Whistlers!!!!!!! I really am amazed they are able to balance and walk on the gates/fence with those big, floppy, pink feeties! I guess they have a pretty strong grip.
I have a dancing robot now that I proved I am not a robot.. LOL!

Such a treat, to see them from all angles. I especially enjoy the "Fearless Four" ... or maybe they're a comedy team.

I thought you were going to say, or have a picture of them sliding down that log leaning on the fence. Water park ride?!?

Marit Sønstebø said...

They looks so happy! It seems they have good balance :)

DJan said...

They sure love to balance on things. I laughed at the last picture, though, of the bathing beauties right off the sore. Love these guys. :-)

Oh thank you for the smile today! In that second photo, they look like they're having a very serious discussion of the 'To slide, or not to slide' variety, lol.

Linda Kay said...

Those birds are so funny, as their feet don't look like the usual "grasp ahold of a fence" feet!

The Whistlers have a good balance.
This is a good gymnastic training.

I thought that the goofy Whistlers were going to slide down that rough slide. It would be hard on the plumage.
Happy April Fool Day.

Too funny, walking on the fences. Kind of reminds me of the grandkids--if there's a curb or wall to balance on, they have to do it.
