Catching up on your wonderful shots of the handsome predator the Loggerhead Shrike. Thou the vast majority of you commenters except for Red and one other identified them as cute, pretty, adorable, sweet etc. they are known locally here among the old timers as "butcher birds" for their nasty habit of impaling they prey on thorns, spikes and barbed wire. I still admire the hunter in them though....:)
