Most ducks don't sit in the trees, do they? Just the whistlers? I love these guys! :-)
I'm amazed that they can get so high up in the tree.
Ducks in a tree? How can that be?If I'd nothing to do, I'd sit there too!
A duck convention? Who knew!
What a line-up!
silly ducks! Trees are for crows.
I didn't know they got up high in the trees. Silly ducks!
Funny! They ARE everywhere!
They are such a source of amusement. Ducks in a tree?
"Whistlers on Wednesday" always makes me think of the movie "If it's Tuesday this must be Belgium."
They just seem happy to be all over your place! Love these cuties! have a happy day!
Some days you must need a dump truck full of bird feed.

It looks odd to see ducks sitting in the tree. I knew they did that, but their feet just don't seem well adapted to it.
They must make you feel very popular! ;))
It's funny to watch them in the trees!
Oh my gosh they are in the trees too---I didn't know they did that.MB
They obviously feel very comfortable around your property!
I'm smiling too. They're just pretty darn cute, in the grass, in the trees, on the fence . . .
Such amazing tree-sitting ability to perch on an upward tilting branch. Those ducks are skillful!
Those are the most unusual of ducks!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.comhttps://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/sherlock-boomer
The habitat look so perfect for these little guys!
Now that is a "duck-tree"!! Love it!
my thoughtsdid the pond get full and the late comers choose the rails? or did the rails get full and the late comers got the pond?are the ducks in the trees from the pond drying out? or are they sitting in the trees waiting for room on pond and rail.hugs from your favorite silly goose

This would make me VERY nervous. Is Alfred Hitchcock around?
It's just beyond amazing that you have so many; I'd love to see even one or two. (We saw them in Port Aransas one winter, one mother with her babies, that was all.) Everybody there was thrilled so I don't think they were a regular there.
They certainly are everywhere! It's so funny to see duck in a tree! I've seen Wood Ducks in trees here - first time I saw it I couldn't believe my eyes ...
cute little fellows, didn't know they roosted in trees.
Your ducks are fantastic.I love to watch them.Greetings.
I'm so amazed to see them sitting in the trees! Crazy birds!!
I've never once had my ducks in a row ... these photos are so much fun. How they grip with their feet is amazing.

Apparently like this place and go there often come together. Regards.
Whoa, I never think about ducks being in trees.
Those Whistlers get everywhere.
Hi Theresa, The Whistlers seem to be quite a lot like Wood Ducks in that they roost in trees. I love your series on Wed. Keep it up! Such cuties! Have a fantastic evening and a great day tomorrow!
If you were paranoid you might think they were spying on you.
That's the craziest thing...I have never seen ducks sitting in a tree! My first thought was of guineas. LOL! I think your original crew went out and told all their friends about your super buffet!
Still find it strange to see ducks in trees!
Sort of look like Navy cadets aboard a tall ship, don't they? :-)
It just cracks me up seeing them in the tree!!
Their adorable antics are just a hoot! I just love their tree climbing too!

endless joy! I always lighten up when I see these guys, TexALOHA from Honolulu,ComfortSpiral =^..^=
Invasion of the whistlers!
Do they speak to you? I wonder what they discuss amongst themselves. They look like the doves in my tree...I always think they are up there gossiping. :)
I've missed your goofy fence and tree sitting ducks! :)
If they weren't so goofy looking they could be doing a remake of The Birds! They're just not scary enough, though. :-)
Love these cute birds!
I was going to say, they were sitting there like sitting ducks! These photos always make me happy!
They do hang together, don't they?
It's an invasion!
They sure do like sitting in rows, be it on fences or big branches! I was going to say that now I know where the expression "ducks in a row" comes from but then I got worried that it had to do with shooting ducks. I'll have to look that up.
They sure are and what great photos of them all. Gives us an idea of just how many you get. Amazing! Please send some over this way. I wish we were on their migration flight :)
i absolutely love those goofy ducks...:)
Silly ducks wanted to be high in the tree's.
They certainly are adventurous andstylish, lining up like that on that tree branch.
I love the way they line up on those fence gates.
I think I've mentioned this before... you sure get a lot Whistler type ducks. But tree sitting is a new one on me!Hope all is well at the Ranch.
I'm designating your property as a Whisler Refuge.
Love 'em all!
Looks like they're moving up in the world.
Dearest Theresa; Oh My; 'everywhere' is the word(^_^)ｖ I LOVE their RED beaks and feet. I tried to check the English anatomy word for their feet; seems many, Haha.Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
