Duck Pond

I thought these photos turned out pretty neat - as if you could move the ducks around like magnets or stickers on a flat board. Maybe it's just me. :) Wood Ducks and Blue-Winged Teals on the pond.

Good Morning! Beautiful reflections. Mama had a little Christmas village with a skating pond where the figures were magnetized...that's what this reminds me of!

I can see that too, or a "Monet" style painted picture

Yes, those were excellent photographs. The ducks were cooperative, it seems!

It's a sport called "ponding". Nobody knows the rules, although one would naturally assume the ducks do. They do, don't they? :-)

Ha! Yes, I can see that. And I agree with Dicky Bird.

The picture is neat, yes and I also like the greens reflection on the water. I like it when the lake/river's blooming.

Tex, the water is fascinating... did you do some editing to the photos? It looks as though they have some texture work done on them. Very pretty, all the ripples in the water and the reflections are awesome. All the pictures look like paintings!

ThreeOldKeys said...

dreamy ... I wonder what music would go along with scenes like this. (you know, in case you're shooting a feature film about the pond.)
