I really enjoy cattle egrets on the farm/ranch lands.

By the way, I failed to mention yesterday as I scrolled thru your posts...I LOVED the your sweet doggie post...especially the first photo in shade/sun...AND wrapped up in towels and blankets.

Such cool birds! They very rarely fly as far north as central Ontario and when they do they create quite a stir!

I think I've only seen them in the grass with the cattle, so fun to see them perched on a fence.

that's a pretty fence they perched on!! i was "almost" number 59 on the 59th good fences, almost!!!!

as you know, i love egrets but i don't see cattle egrets. now don't laugh, but do they hang around cattle?? you better not be laughing at me, i had a rough day!!!
