Silly Varmint!

A squirrel helps himself to birdseed on the little plate feeder hung at the end of a branch.

He apparently finds this position uncomfortable and decides to change it.

 There, that's obviously better.

 Certainly much more comfortable.

A silly acrobat clown! Typical of them, and so cute you can't get angry with them for stealing the bird seed.

Oh, Bubba, you are such an acrobat. I guess he didn't like the food being under his bum and figured out how to make it better. Great shots! :-)

What a wonderful contortionist! This whole picture story made me laugh out loud! Thanks!

hard to eat when you're sitting on the food.

Birdman said...

Why not dump the entire plate? It'll be easier to eat without the balancing act.

Chandra Eswaran said...

Very cute, but naughty as always. I am gonna have to procure birdseed from a feed store to keep these guys fed :)
Have a Beautiful Day, Theresa!
Peace :)

Squirrels are so smart. This is a perfect example of the thought processes this squirrel must have gone thorough to come up with this solution.

Brian King said...

Oh, good grief! LOL! I can't believe he managed all that without knocking the seed off!

I do love those little buggers!!! My group of squirrels sat on the window that looks at me from over my desk and you could almost hear them asking -- 'where's the peanuts???' so I stopped everything, got dressed and went to store to get peanuts!! They do rule the roost -- theirs and mine!!

He is ready for the circus this guy. Too active for me.

They are cute if you don't get them in the house.

My son got one in the house two weeks ago and the dog went nuts barking, barking. He did it them out. Daughter grabbed the thing. Out it went but she could of got bitten. Not a smart move.

A friend got two in her house and they had four babies. It cost her two hundred dollars to get the whole family of squirrels removed by experts.

Then talking to a man and he said that the squirrels got in his friends house. Chewed the wires and the house caught on fire.

They are way too mischief's for me. To me I cal them rats. They do scare me.

So they are cute looking at them and your pictures but keep your doors closed. Sometimes they still want more grub and will invade your house for more. Then decide to be your new tenant.

knowing you if you can handle rattlers. I guess you would have a method to get them out fast.
