Enjoy your new venture and see you when you can.
Oh so lovely!Good day Crissi
Okay! I will miss your speedy and attentive blogging ways but I like it that you are shifting a bit. You are a blessing.
Hi Theresa, it's always good to regroup! We all need to do that from time to time. Enjoy your new routine! Sweet shots of the squirrel. Best wishes and blessings. See you soon!Hugs, cm
I did the daily blogging for a few years. I can say it was very freeing to switch to three days a week.
I can understand, I have never been able to do the daily blogging. And we all need time to keep up with our daily lives. Take all the time you need, I will be here when you do a new post. Have a happy day and new week ahead!
Hi Theresa .. don't blame you - and enjoy your new direction. It's good you're still blogging and will settle into a new routine ... I'll enjoy the pictures. What a great selection here ... love the way you've set them out - cheers Hilary
A beloved groove can become a rut, and need some changing. Enjoy exploring a new way!Love the squirrel. A squirrel never fails to make me smile.
I will miss your daily posts and visits, but it is always good to take a break. Blogging regularly has a push-pull element to it, but I have found it to be a very satisfying yet tiring activity. I hope that you will periodically let us know how and where your new "groove" is heading and progressing!
Blogging every day can be exhausting, I tried it a few years back but then life got in the way, as it is wont to do!So pleased that you won't be gone for good , joining you for Good Fences has put the mojo back into my photography.Have fun with your new endeavors, see you on Thursday.a bientotMaggie
I can't believe I'm having a conversation with a squirrel. :-)
geweldig ze steelt de show
What a face! Furry and cute. I, too, am glad you will still be around. Enjoy your new routine. :)
Enjoy you time.Love from Poland
be sure to put the squirrels in your new groove, he is so darn cute. we will all be here when you drop by and hope the new groove is easy to fit into...
HI Tex Always good to realise when one needs a change in life and routines and it is exciting that you will be doing something else you enjoy. I am glad you are continuting with Good Fences at present but Like me, when you do something, you try and do it to the best of your ability and you have certainly done that. I, very much appreciate all the daily visits to my blog and the comments you leave. As you know I do try and do a daily blog and at times it is nearly overwheleming and I am sure someday, I will cut back a bit. My greatest problem is I take TOO many photographs. Anyway, I thank you for letting us know adn I look forward to the posts that you do publish in future.
Everything changes, but it will seem odd that you are not the FIRST comment I find on my posts. I will enjoy seeing you whenever you show up, though. Are you feeling a little squirrelly? :-)
All the best in your new direction. Of course, I will miss your daily posts, but please blog when you feel like it.
So cute......love from me Ria...happy week x!
According to that lasp photo, you're turning tail. :)Nothing wrong with that.
I don't know how you did it every day and still comment on others and still have time for other stuff. have fun mixing it up.
I have no doubt you have thought this thought this through thoroughly and are making the right decision for you at this time. You have been instrumental in getting me back to blogging and transitioning into retirement. I thank you for that. And so glad you will continue Good Fences!P.S. That first sentence is a real tongue twister :).PP.SS. Love the squirrel series!!
Take your time, TWG. We'll keep a light on!~
I'll be slowing down the picture taking too...due to the heat.
Wishing you (and your furry friends) ALL THE BEST in your new venture! Hugs!!
change is good!!!! i will always be thinking of you...but not as a tree rat!!
Hope the changes you are making are for your good and not forced on you because of health or any such thing.Looking forward to hearing from you as time permits.
Sometimes it is nice to mix it up. :)
I will miss you and all your little critters! Stay safe and enjoy your time away!
Caption for the 2nd photo (from the old TV show Different Strokes):Whatchoo talkin about? It looks like we, your fans, are giving you permission to live your life ... hurray! We can pout and cheer at the same time.See you on Thursdays and maybe occasionally when the dogs have treed a koala or you discover a herd of moose in the pond.
I loved messymimi's insightful comment about a beloved groove becoming a rut. I haven't been doing this as long as you have, but I've had my own struggles with trying to find a "beloved groove" that doesn't become a rut for me. I'll still be hanging around, waiting for your future posts, whenever they come.
Take Care dear one.
I will miss your daily comments, but I hope you will be around sometimes :)Take care dear blog friend!
Enjoy your shift of view... you have a lot of pretty to look at in your bit of country, Tex. I have been looking for a new groove too... :) Got you on my Feedly and on my favorites so I will be keeping an eye out for you!
I have wondered how you do what you do every day. I cannot hold up to any more. In fact, I do not comment as much as I did. I love getting them, but it is very time consuming. I have truly enjoyed each post you have shared, but most of all your friendship. I will keep tabs on you.
Enjoy your shift of view... you have a lot of pretty to look at in your bit of country, Tex. I have been looking for a new groove too... :) Got you on my Feedly and on my favorites so I will be keeping an eye out for you! Posted as Rural Rambler again... it's a mystery! It's me... Pix!
These are great squirrel shots with which to anticipate your change in priorities. Good luck as you undertake some changes. Thanks for all the work you've put in over the years.
Always good to have a change. Best of luck with whatever you do.
Everything is changing. You have been the most constant person on the internet, I applaud you for hanging in there as long as you have. It has been a privilege 'knowing' you. I understand - and I hope you find something more intriguing to keep you busy and happy. Hugs to the girls and Baron. We'll see you around.Take care now!Sharon
Ah, always love the squirrels!! You will indeed be missed, but wishing you a great new adventure!! Take care and enjoy!!
Dawno nie widziałęm u ciebie wiewiórek:) Piękne:)

Enjoy your new days, 5 years is a LONG time!
I hear ya Theresa.I've even been thinking of shutting mine down for awhileI feel so overwhelmed most days.Take care.
Wishing you all the best in your journey were ever it may lead you. See you around blogland when you get the chance.
Cute photos! I will miss your beautiful day to day photos but completely understand the need to change up your days. Enjoy!
Changing things up now and again is always good.
I love these photos :))))Greetings
Blogging everyday is a big commitment. Changes is good. I no longer blog everyday. Looking forward to seeing you around.Have a great July.Hugs,JB
Hi Theresa, I will miss the daily news from you, but changes are good, sometimes necessary. A good while ago I stopped worrying if I didn't post something fairly regularly, as life down here took over in a huge way, and now that we have a date for Hugh's surgery, I might be even more sporadic. Best wishes for any new venture, I am sure the birds and squirrels will still call in for their B&B, lunch and dinner too . Enjoy each day.
Enjoy the summer!!! :o)
It will be a good day whenever we get a chance to see your periodic posts. I'll miss seeing your relaxed (bucolic?) dog shots, as they're always so calming. Now please don't let your priorities and newly found free time turn into an absence of several years as it has for me.
I admire you, that for 5 years you had every day new posts. I'm not surprised that you want from your blog to rest. Rest and live peacefully outside the blog. Best wishes.
I've had to do this too.Love your squirrels.
Take the rest you need. Enjoy your new routine. I understand and will miss your quick comments on my blog. Love these squirrel shots and great news on the Good Fences.
Sometimes you gotta shake things up!
What adorable shots! I really don't know how you've managed to put up daily posts for so long. We'll still be here even if you post less regularly. (I'm down to twice a week these days.)
Keep on blogging, when you can. You are a bit like me, 5 years of blogging, and now its time for leaving, but only occasions.
It's good to take some time off now and then, don't worry about it. I'm just glad you explained that everything was okay and we don't have to worry about some horrible problem you might be having.
Teresa, I really enjoyed your blog and the superb animal photographs. Best wishes in your other endeavor. I'll continue to look for your posts in the future when they occur.
It's a busy world, and new horizons can help it be a little more interesting. Enjoy!
We all need time to recharge our batteries every now and then, but I do hope you keep in touch. Take care.
HA! Of course you know I love that little critter! Yep, it's time for a blog break for me too. See you soon, enjoy your time!
I'll miss your posts, Tex! Good luck with the new ventures and I will look forward to Thursdays!
I have wondered for years, how you keep it up, dont leave too long a gap between posts.!!peter
Love these pictures ...Take time to do what you want and need to do.All the best Jan
It's understandable to slow down from time to time. Cute critter!
If only little monster had been stuck in the V! LOL! Nothing wrong with changing things up once in a while!
Take care and enjoy some free time. I know I only try to blog only 3 days a week, everyday is a hard schedule!
Ya gotta do whut ya gotta do. I did. Come back when you can. I'll miss the whistlers!
Enjoy your free time !
He's a cutie! Look at the size of those hands... A future Bubba for sure:@)
I know it is not a farewell post, much as I love that little critter he is not your signature "Whistler Duck."
wow, now i think the world is going to come to an end ... Theresa & less commenting ... wow wee ... have a ball - see ya when i see ya. i understand. i have less time for blogging ... got other things on my mind and around here to do ... keep in touch when you can. ( :
T, I find that the Blog can be a demand some times. The deeper one goes, the harder it is to get to the surface again. I'll miss you daily, but will look forward to seeing you when you're here!
You have given us tremendous pleasure through your posts. I can understand if you want to change your style. I wish you all the best . I hope that you have fun with your new venture.
Dear Theresa,Glad to hear all is well.Wish you the best in all walks of life!See you soon...Have a Wonderful Day!Peace :)
Totally understand! I'm feeling that way myself right now. Glad I checked in today! Enjoy your time off :)
We'll miss TexWis.
Enjoy your newfound freedom!
Nice photos, yes, I love this delicious squirrel!
Your squirrel photos are cute. I admire anyone who can blog daily, enjoy your lighter schedule. I appreciate the bloghops I can join so I can get more readers for my once-a-week blog, then I add links as they open.
I'll be watching! :) I've slowed down a lot too, as you can tell. I'm also much slower at reading and commenting. Priorities is right...the kids are getting older WAY too fast, and it is what it is. Take care!
Totally understandable! Definitely admirable to have kept it up for as long as you did. Hope all is well. Take care of yourself. Blogging will be different without steady TexWis, but we all get it. :)
Dear T, enjoy yourself as you rearrange your time. So glad all is well. It's good to seek other things to sit beside the familiar.I've always been amazed at your energies as a blogger and appreciate being the recipient of your sweet messages. Have fun and follow your heart as you find your groove dear friend. See you around :D) xx
... oh yes, cutie pie squirrel too :D)
Nice to give us a heads up. Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up, otherwise I'd worry about you ;) I totally get what you're saying tho, I've slowed down on my blogging as well, it's been 8 years for me and I never imagined to be blogging this long. Enjoy your time.
Handsome little fella. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
Will miss you but enjoy your time away, cute Squirrel pictures!!!Blessings Francine.
Well, don't be too scarce. Who would I go to with questions about blogging? Hey, we call deserve a change of pace occasionally.
I completely understand the need to take blogging breaks. It seems like life just gets busier and busier, especially during the summer months. I haven't even had time to look for fences to snap. In fact, my camera really hasn't seen much action in quite a while now. Take care and enjoy your summer days!
You could slow down and STILL be 99th percentile of active bloggers. Glad we'll still do fences - I'm constantly looking for them now LOL!I can NEVER visit all the great bloggers, but hey, we do what we can, Tex.See you around, eh?ALOHA ComfortSpiral =^..^=(\__/)(='.'=)(")_(")
Good for you Theresa, and best wishes on your new groove! I will sure miss the daily reports from the Run*A*Round Ranch, especially your Wednesday Whistlers!
Nice series of photos with your blogging break message. All the best for your new routine.http://www.srikri.com
See you around! I don't post as much as I used to either -- only when it feels like there is something to say. Our life is different since the move; not as isolated and work drains me during the week. I'll look forward to your occasional posts and visits. Live ebbs and flows; nothing wrong with that.
Good for you! I wondered how you could possibly comment on 100 + blogs a day and still have a life.
People don't always realize how much work and time go into maintaining a blog. Wish you success in your other endeavors. I'll be happy to see you when you have the time!
Every day for five years!! OMG! You need a well deserved break. Time to experiment and see what other way to blog works for you. Glad you aren't leaving!! I cut way back when life just got too busy this last year with Ian arriving in our lives and me moving now--works well for me to blog once or twice a week. I kind of try to blog on Tuesdays and then whenever else I feel like it. I have longer posts but less of them. I didn't want to leave blogland, but it was getting hard to keep up. :) Have a good rest and see you whenever you are around. :)
Hi Theresa, Breaks and change-ups are a good thing. I sure do hope Whistlers will be whistling away on Wednesdays! If not, I have a secret spot full of 'em here. Not to take your thunder or anything like that. Have a super fine week!
A break sometimes is necessary, always so glad to see your nice posts, Theresa!Wonderful squirrel images!Enjoy the Summer: -)
Your photo series is very beautifulHave a good day, Cath.
I'll miss your daily delightful photos! They always make me smile. Don't stay away for too long!
You are doing the right thing. We always need some other time to do other thing. But as I can see you will still stay around. Have a really nice time and take care 彡☆ ☺☆ Oh, your pictures are lovely ☆
Great photos!Enjoy your extra time for other activities.
I've spent more time on your blog than I have on my own and I'm sure I'll still be here whenever you show up! Good luck with the new groove!
Dear Tex,I am sure you have noticed, that i dont blog as much. Also recently due to my spinal operation.. can't sit too long at the computer. Will always enjoy seeing you on my sidebar.. Enjoy trying something new and or different but we all will miss you so much.Take care,MB
Awe, I had wondered about you. Bless your heart, you are always the first person to check in on my blog. I just posted my 6 year anniversary blog post last week. For the first few years, I had posted a few times a week and then it became necessary for me to back it down a bit too. Now, it is just once a week and I still have a hard time keeping up. I am retired, but my schedule is almost always full. I will miss seeing your posts on a regular basis, but look forward to seeing you as you can visit. Thank you for all that you have done to make our days special~
I'll miss your photos!
5 years is indeed a long time. Take a good break and figure out newer passions. All the best! I will miss your comments!
Five years of daily blogging is really amazing. I have hard time keeping up with weekly blogging. I hope you enjoy your non-blogging time a lot :-)
A new groove can be a really good thing. I hope yours works the way you plan.Being tied to the internet on a daily bases can be a good thing and a bad thing. It's always a good thing to unplug and enjoy life.Maybe you should try a Hawaiian sunset or two. :~)
I hope it all works out for you. :) I don't post everyday, but I always look forward to your daily pics. I'll be here when you are. :)hugs to you!
Wonderfull and intersing photos.Yours:)*
Nice n cute fello! Enjoy whatever u do..
It's good to change up a bit! I don't blame you for wanting to slow down a bit!
I've really admired your ability to blog on a daily basis and to visit so many other people's blogs and often wondered how you do it. It can be very "time" consuming for sure. I'm just glad you have decided to call it quits and whenever you post I'll be around to see what you are up to. Also glad you'll continue with Good Fences because that is my favorite meme of all time.
Hi Theresa, enjoy your slower pace and even though I haven't been around myself too much lately I will miss you. However, I certainly understand the need for priorities. Thank you for leaving us with this cutie. He's adorable!Thank you also for leaving such a kind message for my father-in-law. They are being read to him and he is very appreciate of how everyone has taken the time to write to him and wish him well. He is still in hospital, will be undergoing surgery as soon as he is well enough. Hopefully it won't be long before he is home again.
I don't blame you. It's fun, but its work.
Because I babysit a toddler grandchild every day I can only manage once a week blogging. It works out well forme for now. Enjoy your summer and blog when you can! xo
I miss you already. :(xoxo
I understand - it's good to change things up. I've been blogging for 6 years now but I take more breaks than you do. Enjoy your time doing other stuff, and we'll all watch for your posts, even if they are not as frequent! Thanks for all the smiles.
I can imagine the work involved ~ and I enjoy your writing and photos so much! Have fun looking for that groove :-) And thank you!
It's always good to take a break. Yea. I get that feeling too from time to time
It was like June has 29 days only due to absence of ur post. It’s not possible for all to continue blogging daily, but you really amaze me being one. I am glad at least u decided to slow down rather stop blogging... because I don’t want to miss u in blogging and lose a friendship. Hope the change will put u active on other ends too. Enjoy what u do :)Nice expressions though the photos! Keep going
he's so cute love the last get away shot. Wonder what your new groove will be?
Be good to yourself. :)
... and the last image you leave me with is this guy??????? You did this on purpose, didn't you.
Dearest Theresa; First of all, I hope to express my sincere appreciation to your friendship. Your help really encouraged me a lot☆☆☆ Please have or enjoy personal time a little♪I am always struggling with 'not enough time 'thought(^^;) Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
I completely understand, and I'm extremely happy you're keeping our Good Fences! We'll see you when we see you! Take good care of you!
:) I'll miss you and your "Wednesday Whistlers"! Enjoy your time!
Eveyone needs a break.....a change of direction can be a good thing. Will miss you.....Janey
Dearest Theresa,Well, we all struggle with that time frame for keeping up with everything. Take your time and wishing you well and for a blessed summer together with loved ones.Hugs,Mariette
Very nice pictures. You're right, there are more important things in life.Greetings.
I hear ya! discover yourself and what Texas has to offer! Most of all take time for yourself and those you love.
Hahaha... so cute. You have found a really beautiful modell :)
Hope all is well . I know what you mean a lot has changed for me the past two years. It's very hard to blog every day. I decided to take care of myself and get out enjoy life. Post when I can . Take care love your blog
Very good series the squirrel;))
Great shots of the squirrel! I've always wondered how you do it with your very regular posts, and visiting *so* many of us so quickly--you're a super-blogger to be sure!
Enjoy yourself. I have cut back visiting others (which makes me feel guilty) because you just can't do everything in a day.
Fantastic photos to go with your narrative!
Good for you!!! I was wondering what had happened! You have daily blogged forever! I always wondered how you could do that with all the work on the farm. It's once a week for me now. So I hope you get your groove back and enjoy the world of NOT blogging. It is pretty nice as well. I still do my AM coffee and read when I get a chance. So anyhow, I just wanted to say that I was thinking of you the other day. I FINALLY saw my first Painted Bunting! You must be getting them to your feeders now. What an awesome bird! I like your squirrel photos. Keep the dogs away from him:)
Time off is always good, but I sure will miss your post. Take care!
They do say a change is as good as a rest. Blogging can be very time consuming especially when you have such a popular site. Enjoy some quality time and fresh air and your beautiful open Texas countryside.
Such a cute squirrel! A wonderful series of shots!Take your time and enjoy it!
First, I love the wonderful series following the squirrel's trip along the tree. Second, it was a shock to check in and realize there was only an "older" post and no "new" post after Thursday's, but I had a feeling even before I read this one that you were changing things up a bit. As many have said, we'll miss the daily posts, but mostly, I'm happy for you. It wasn't so much the posts (though they were great) but the 100's of comments every day that astounded me. I shook my head often and wondered how you did it. Thanks, Theresa, for taking that time to visit and encourage so many of us. I know I speak for all of your loyal followers when I say that we consider you a friend, and as such, we want the very best for you. Have fun at whatever you do and however you do it. We'll be watching out for your posts when they come and enjoying them all the more, knowing you are taking care of yourself and following your heart.
So cute! BTW, I'm glad you got the blogger at Massanutten Game Trails to start posting again. He is practically my neighbor since I can see the Massanutten Mountains from my window.
Good luck on your new ventures, Tex! I've had to slow down a bit too. Take good care of you-
So lovable.. Cheers..
Ah-HA!! Good for you, Theresa. I think changing up our days is a good thing sometimes... I will say I know the sun is coming up when I see your posts... ;) BIG hugs ~ t.
I'm catching up a bit via Feedly after my own semi-annual blog break -- definitely not responding to every post from every favorite person, but I really did want to acknowledge this one. I do not blame you one bit -- although I have appreciated the wonderfulness of having a lovely post each and every day from the RunAround, I have often wondered how on earth you do it! Change is good. Enjoy every minute of wherever life takes you. (But I do hope you let us know every so often about how you and the critters are doing.)
