I love seeing birds with seeds! I kind of expect them to just eat it, I have to be reminded of all the precision beakwork they do first.

Hi Tex, I love Cardinals. Growing up in the D-FW area I recall how common they seemed. I miss them now ... the Pacific Northwest is way out of their normal range. Thanks for the neat pictures.

All that colour in one small bird. I really would love to see some of your birds one day. I had something else i really wanted to ask you. Would you be interested in writing a guest blog for my "13 Years Wilde" series. I have no-one for overseas writing one yet and it would be so interesting to hear if nature was a big part of your life or not when you were my age. Thanks, Findlay

Dearest Theresa; First of all, so sorry I missed many of your posts; I feel a bit relieved that we visited my parents and bro's monk and had talked in detail about Buddhist altar in their empty house, grave, cremains and perpetual memorial service etc :-)

Haha, Your Mr. Cardinal is a seed eater laying his crest back♪♪♪ I wish I could see this colorful fellow with my own eyes :-)
