I enjoy watching how most of my mated cardinals take turns at the feeder. One sits on the fence 30ft away on guard, while the other noshes...and then they change places. (Yep...have a lot of hawks...they're smart birds)

A beautiful couple. I'm glad we have Cardinals here or I would be jealous. One of John's sisters always sends us a Christmas card with a Cardinal on it. If there is no printing on the front I cut them and put them into a small frame. I have a nice arrangement on the living room wall.

They are sweet birds.

These photos exude love, Theresa.
They have a very dreamy quality to them as well - if I may be so bold.

Hope the crazy floods aren't affecting you adversely.
