Beauty in Unexpected Places

One fall day, I paused my stall mucking to take a cell phone snap of a wildflower that grew just inside the back entrance of the barn. An imperfect shot that remains one of my favorites.

Isn't amazing how beauty can be found in stinky places.I never understood how a lovely flower can survive in a crack on a hot street. They do better than the ones I try to grow. Thank you so much for visiting me. I look forward to them.

The photo does have a nice arrangement to it; suitable for framing. I am fascinated by the rake/shovel having never seen one like that before. I sit here trying to think of what great use I could put it to. Nothing comes to mind so I'll leave it for it's intended purpose which you can have.

Unplanned and unexpected pictures sometimes turn out to be the best!

So is that funny looking tool a "Muck Rake"? I've heard the expression "Raking Muck" but never gave it much thought what kind of tool one would use to do so...

It's a fine image that places unrelated items together. The flowers are natural, the rake/shovel man-made.

It's great when something so natural grows in a place it sort of shouldn't. Like when weeds push through the pavements or in between cracks in the patio. It's like nature is reminding you that it is there and it is important.
