Snow tomorrow?? WoW, crazy weather you are having!!
Good that you are okay. It made the news here.

Weather is so extreme in this country. I don't scare easily, but I would not want to live in tornado country. I'm glad you are safe. I feel so bad about those who lost so much.
Looks like your pond got filled!I hope you are still safe...I haven't had the news on but was talking to a sister and she said Texas has had more. We have had rain all weekend, like someone was pouring it out of a bucket a big part of the time. Creeks are out of banks, roads in low areas are flooding. So that is a mess, too, but nothing like there.
Glad you are safe. Sad there was lot of life. We've had rain for three days. Although the valley roared with water last night it has begun to recede. We have not checked the damage yet...Have a blessed day.
When I heard about Texas weather on the news I wondered if it had affected your area. Pleased to hear all is well, apart from the rain and hail.
I'm so glad that you are safe! Beautiful images :)
When I saw the news this morning, I cried for those who lost loved ones and the destruction is awful. I am so grateful that you are safe.Love this post.
Thought of you yesterday, seeing the damage of the tornado and the awful weather in Dallas. Glad you are okay. I can't believe it's in the 30s today in the Hill Country, but glad we avoided the worst of the weather. Just a skift of snow on the roofs here this morning.
I saw some of this online. Quite the happenings down there.
Good to see you were spared, TWG. And those are stunning pics.~
That hail looks awful! We had all rain and fog.
so glad you are safe and it looks like your deck survived. i am thinking the dogs must have been inside with you since they are usually on the deck. i know they have their own home. that sky is awesome after the storms. my heart hurts for those who lost so much.
I'm so glad you are safe after this terrible weather. I hope those who were affected can go back to their normal lives as soon as possible.
What a great collection of pictures. I like the cloud shots with the sun lighting the edges. Very good series of shots.
The weather has been rough but your photos are wonderful! I'm glad you are safe and sound!
I was worried about all my Texas blogging buddies. Glad you are all right.
In Poland, weather is fantastic! Everyday I watch light Sun, which give us warm and good emotions. I greet! :)

Big Country can throw big weather.(Love your twilight shots)

Glad we dont get them over here, but we have had a lot of rain, super photo too.peter
I don't think in all of the years I have been reading your blog, I have seen the water in the pond that high. That is amazing/scary. I just can't believe the weather that is in your area. I am so glad you were safe.
I'm glad you're okay.Otherwise, what happened ... horrible!
I'm glad that you are safe.
I immediately thought of you and went to a map to see where exactly Garland was in relation to Dallas. Once seeing this I figured you were okay. I'll keep my earthquake country over tornado and hurricane country anytime.
I am so thankful you are safe!!!!Linda
I've been wondering about you...glad to hear you are okay! We've had rain since Sunday and there are flood warnings out for roads in many places. There were several that died in floods a few counties south of us. But, thankfully, no tornadoes here. Loved your pretty sky shots. Stay safe and well!
Even overhere in The Netherlands we have seen this on the news. We are glad You are ok !
Glad to hear you are OK in your area, but so sorry for the folks in the path of this terrible weather. Thanks for the calming last few images ...

Nature is saying enough. Mankind heed the warnings.
You did better than me, capturing these great stormy shots. I could not believe what was going on in such a short time. Never thought of my camera.I am sorry so much damage and lives lost, but very thankful we were spared once more.Stay safe my friend and hope for better days.

I heard about them on the news and feel so bad for everyone involved.
Glad to hear you are OK. Prayers for those who didn't come through unscathed. Your photos are beautiful.
We had a stinking hot day on Christmas, with big fires in the west of the state with many homes lost. Then the weather changed and it rained and was colder than London! Lots of people will not have good memories of this Christmas all over the world.Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Belas fotografias com céus magníficos, aproveito para desejar um Bom Ano Novo.
happy that you are safe. Don't know about you...but I am ready for some sunshine!
So so happy you are safe, heard about those teffible storms, lovely pictures though,Blessings Francine.
Hi Tex, I was saddened by the news of those terrible storms. I have a friend who had been a tornado victim when a tornado tore through Lancaster, TX many years ago so I especially know what that is like. I have also been through the Garland area a few times when I lived in Hunt County, TX a long time ago when in school. Glad you are OK and do not live in the affected area. I pray for those who have had loss. Have a super good day tomorrow!
Just to clarify - my friend who I spoke of did not get hurt but lost her business building - she had just moved out of a nearby home that was flattened by the storm - super timing.
So glad all is good and safe at the RR, T! Hoping 2016 is a wonderful year for you and your family...furry ones, too! xoxo, T.
I heard about those tragic storms. Sorry I didn't email you to see if you were okay. ((Hugs)) Glad to hear that you are safe. Keeping all the families in my prayers.
Sorry to hear about the weather anomalies in your country. I pray for the people who lost their houses !! I'm glad you're safe !!Greetings
We only had one tornado, which I don't think did any damage. Receiving over nine inches of rain last weekend has left us with some major flooding, though.
So glad you are safe! I thought of you when I heard the news - such devastation! Dramatic photos of stormy skies. Hope this is the last of it. Must be so scary.
There's some crazy stuff going on out there, for sure. Glad you are safe.
Take care X
I am so glad to hear you are safe. This winter weather has been crazy. Here's to a calmer, more normal 2016!
Glad you are ok. Stay safe and hope things will be better in 2016
Dearest Theresa; OMG!!! What an extreme weather; I've never experienced Tornado and hail. Really glad you are safe, Dear friend. Yes,"better days ahead for those affected"!I remember hearing my grandparents were in danger with flood before I was born. Hope the earth won't have unusual weather like we hear from TV.Wishing you will have a wonderful and happy coming Year 2016☆☆☆ Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Glad to hear you're safe, Tex, and missed the brunt of the storm. Our daughter who lives near Dallas happens to be in eastern Wisconsin right now. I asked her by phone if she thought her house was still standing. 'I have no idea. I sure hope so.' The Christmas of 2015 will be remembered by many who suffered the loss of home and loved ones.
That's sad... I feel for those who lost their lives and homes :(
Glad to hear that you are safe - I feel so sorry for those who are affected.
Good to know the tornadoes keeps away from your area… I too wish for the people there to recover from the disaster. Nature has been terrific all these days, and becoming unpredictable. Btw. You got wonderful photos here, to make feel pleasure :) Happy New Year my dear friend, Theresa
Wow! sounds like you have been getting some terrible weather, glad you are all safe! Take care Tex......

I have been hearing the news of the devastation in Texas, Theresa, and am relieved that you are okay. I, too, feel for those who have lost homes and for the loved ones of people killed. Sure puts things in perspective! Thanks for the spectacular photos. The one with the hail really brings home how close you are to this crazy weather pattern. I hope your Christmas was a peaceful and happy one!
I've been wondering about you when I hear of all the terrible weather in Texas. Glad you are safe!Beautiful photos. Happy New Year!
Wonderful sky images! Very glad to know that you are safe. We (Indiana) had four tornadoes on 12/23, in the central part of the state, but nowhere near as devastating as the ones in Texas, and no lives lost, thankfully.Just wanted to stop by and wish you and yours all the best in 2016!Lindy
Your pictures are very nice with dark and threatening skies.I saw and heard on TV at my work Tornado in Texas and I was thinking the same as you. I was hoping that you and your family nothing had happened. Fortunately jukllie safe.
So much devastation. I'm glad you're safe and sound. Despite how they represent the unsettled weather, your photos are lovely. Stay safe!
Glad to hear you are safe and sound Tex. It's definitely been a wierd December. We had some golf ball sized hail here this past weekend.Stay safe and Happy New Year!
First of all I'm happy if you are okey. Tornado is terrible storm. When I was child we heard about it from the news only but nowadays there were some tornadoes here in Hungary as well. Fortunately they were small, short and not strong but I don't know how it will happen in the future...I wish a happy and prosperous New Year for you and for your family!Take care :)
Dreadful devastation caused by weather throughout the US. I'm glad your homestead and you are OK. That hail photo is lovely, but the clearing skies I'm sure are more welcome. Happy 2016!
Happy New Year 2016 as well for you!
Wow! Very nice post and photos
Oh Theresa, I am glad you are safe , I have been thinking of you as I hear about the storms. I am so sad for those in the storms' paths. Thank you for keeping us updated. I hope this terrible weather pattern eases up soon. It's almost eerie how pretty the sky can be during such episodes. Be careful out ther!
Oh how blessed you all are Theresa! That weather looks truly horrible and I can imagine the fright as such! We had your weather arrive after it left you, but it had calmed a bit as far as tornadoes. The rains have been pouring down for days and we have a mud bath in our yard while others are under water. KY is the fastest weather changing state in the USA, and I want it to stop, Happy New Year my friend and take good care always~
BEAUTIFUL shy photos!! YES!!!! When watching the news - so much destruction and human loss!! Not to mention the number of lost pets and animals. Hope that your pond has stayed in its banks!!!
Was thinking about you when I heard about the Texas weather. Glad to see you made it through even with that crazy hail. It's been such a weird winter.
Weather patterns globally are changing ... my heart and thoughts go out to all those affected. May they get the support they need ...All the best Jan

I'd heard about the bad storms in your area and was hoping you were OK.
How well I remember "Tornado Alley" when I lived there!
Our thoughts and prayers are with your area. We feel blessed here with below zero temperatures, but no deadly storms,
Glad you're okay. Your photos are beautiful, as are stormy skies -- when they're not causing damage, that is. Hope you have a cozy winter and a wonderful 2016!
I am so far behind in my commenting. These are gorgeous skies. I wondered about you and all of the grim weather in Texas. So glad you all are safe and sound. My heart breaks for those devoted by the storms.
This was a really great read, appreciation for taking the time to put it together! Touched on some very good...
Wasn't that a weather system? It just whipped across the continent!
