Love the photos. The bright light made their coats look so soft. We had very heavy frosts the past few days so I suppose winter is back for a few days, anyway. Have a great week!
Beautiful. Hope they enjoy the cooler weather while it is there.
Ah, I am a horse lover and these are so beautiful!! Terrific captures as always and my last horse was a "red" one like this one!!! Thanks, as always, for sharing the fun and the beauty!! I hope you've had a lovely holiday!!
Great light in these photos!
I like the pictures with the trees as close up, gives it a Monet feel.
Beautiful colouring in every photo, and there they were, in a perfect setting, both natural and in your camera, Love them all.
Makes me cold to look at these photos.
I'm always so happy to see you, but I realize I hardly ever expect your posts to come late in the day. Hello there, Theresa! Nice to see you and your pretty horses. :-)
Evening, sure love those horses of yours, so beautiful... Blessings Francine.
You are so lucky to share your life with the beautiful creatures.
They look so soft and velvety. Nice pictures of your horses, T!
Neigh! They are a cute pair!
These two are such beautiful horses.
Love the "tongue" shot. :)
It's interesting that they don't have the heavy coats as horses here. I'm not sure if you are in the area that had all the snow. I hope you were okay.
Great photos!! *Our* snow will come soon enough. I think!!
Frosty! And beautiful.
I like the last picture - sticking out his tongue at you...lol
Always a treat to see photos of Zim and Gem. Happy New Year to you all!
Love the photos! Happy New Year, Theresa
Nice frosty photos - love the differences in the focus!
Bless them and you!
A beautiful pair of horses.
Beautiful pair!Great series of captures!Happy new year to you and yours! :)
Both so beautiful.
I don't think we've had weather that cold yet... and I'm good with it!
Great photos - Very artistic and the sunshine on the horses is really beautiful.
Great photos! Love those horses!! Glad the snow has escaped you! Blessings...
A lovely series of photos with the horses bathed in crisp clear winter sunlight ! Looks pretty near perfect scenes to me!
Very pretty! No snow in Philly either:@)
They look contented in spite of the cold.
Beautiful horses coming down for a drink. It's nice for them that your weather has been mild. We are having first snowfall and icy conditions. At least we don't have to get to work like my grown kids. I wonder if horses have thicker coats in the winter like my cat, whose fur gets very luxuriant in winter.
Hello Tex, your horses are beautiful. We have not had many cold mornings until now. Great photos! I wish you all the best in 2016. Happy New Year! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a great new week ahead!
You have the most beautiful horses. Loved the photos of them. Thank you for visiting me when I was on vacation. I am back now and hope to catch up over the following week. My first post on our trip is here: http://anenglishgirlrambles2016.blogspot.com/2016/01/first-day-of-vacation-washington-dulles.htmlHappy New Year!

Is it just me, or is Zim making faces again?
Happy New Year to all of you, Theresa!!Beautiful pair of horses!
The horses are so beautiful. And I liked the way you had the faded, then the clear picture. Cool.
They look happy all dressed in winter clothes. Nice blue skies.

Beautiful horses, nice pictures!
I like the blurred images of each horse followed by sharp pictures. It is good they have a good place for a sip of water.
Just so beautiful!
Your horses are probably not satisfied with the cold. He'd rather definitely green grass. I greet warmly.
They are so beautiful....and beautifully sassy too. :@
They look so spirited and contented!

Both so beautiful. :)xox
I had to show this one to my better half for her enjoyment. She loves all things horse related and has been spending lots of time here recently enjoying the decent weather and riding her horse "Chestnut".Great shots!!
I wonder what they think of the cold weather after having such hot summers....probably 'what a relief!'
You sure have some beautiful horses!
Awww, good buddies! And they'd probably rather not have the snow.
I always love seeing photos of your horses! Happy New Year to you!
Hiya,A Very Healthy & Joyous New Year to you and yours!Zim & Gemilyn -How graceful and beautiful!I like the way you have used the aperture to create views, some where the subject is a horse and others where it is not, but the horse is still in the b/g - tastefully, well done!Have a Beautiful Day, Theresa!Peace :)
You guys probably had more winter there than we did here in the northeast.
Today has been one of those days. Behind in my visiting. No matter when your photos are taken, they are just as interesting the second time around. I would not remember anyway. Take care.
Your horses are beauties and you captured some great shots. Happy New Year. Hope it's the best ever!!
They seem to be quite happy with the cold! In Oregon, just before we left, we saw quite a few horses wearing blankets and they'd be in pastures with others who were not dressed for the cold. ( I kept meaning to take a picture, but never did). Anyway, we wondered if some horses are more susceptible to cold temps than others.
I thought horses loved snow! I'll send you a bit.
What a couple of beauties :)
Hi Tex, your horses and all your animals are so beautiful, you can tell they are so loved. What a wonderful home you have created.
I like the change of focus in the first 4 shots. Something I'm still trying to get the hang of.
The weather thus far has been chilly in Arizona and rain expected all this week. And here I escaped Texas to come to the desert where it's supposedly rain-free!
Always like your horses and the sprinkling of snow since we never see any except a flurry once in a while.
Beautiful shots of those two!
I've missed these beauties! A few flurries were reported in our area today, but I didn't see any.
So beautiful in that light! Your horses live a magical life.
I love both of your horses and these are lovely shots. I am nearly home now from my trip to Malawi and Zambia, just waiting at Heathrow for my flight this afternoon but thanks for leaving me all the comments when I was away. Also many thanks for linking me in. Happy New Year.
They seem so happy. What a nice life they have with you.
