Good Fences #97

Kind of cute, kind of simple. I like this entrance tucked catty-corner off the road.
Their "S" is painted in a shiny green which makes it a bit hard to see.

Good morning, Tex! It is a cute entrance. I would think the S should be painted a darker color to stand out. Thanks for hosting, have a hppy day and weekend ahead!

Nice and neat! I like the arch with the shiny S!
Thanks again for hosting and visiting us all!

Very nicely maintained fence and gate. I thought the "S" might actually be a brand such as "Double C," but I guess it just needs paint. It's raining this morning so I got in early. My usual pattern is to be out walking before sunrise, so my browsing starts later in the day.

That makes such a pretty entrance, especially with that evergreen.

Hello Theresa!:) I like the arched look of this entance gate.

Maybe the "S" stands for structurally sound, Tex. :-)

Margaret Adamson said...

perhaps if the S was painted in black it would be easier to see. Love the arch shape. Thanks for hosting Tex.

I think the entrance has an understated elegance.

Dearest Theresa; Sweet white arch-shap fence☆☆☆ I like the idea painting 'S' with the different color, maybe more brighter ones♪

"Catty-Corner" sounds "Wisconsin" to me . . .
I liked the white rounded gate look . . .
You know where to find "them". . .

Anvilcloud said...

Somewhere, there is probably a study on where language usage changes from "catty corner" to "kitty corner". I'm a kitty man myself. :)

Tanya Breese said...

i think you should leave them a note to repaint the "s" as we are all having trouble seeing it :D

Grantham Lynn said...

Oh Katty Corner. Love it. Could be my place with the "S"!
I'm linking. Not much fence but I hope you like it.

This is really cute, and it's exactly how I'd like our entrance to be! I wish we'd planted more trees when we first moved here!

This is a delicate, delightful looking fence, though I am sure it is much sturdier than it looks. Nice one, Theresa. At what point will you have to start traveling to find new fences. I find I need to go further and further from home ... hmmm. Sounds like a good excuse, right:)

I do like that shiny S

Wayne said...

Agreed, they need some contrast there. I bet it's even worse when the trees are in bloom. It's still a fine gate.

I always wanted a fancy fence and gate. Guess my stock panels and barbed wire will have to do.

Hello Theresa
Time flies and I've just remembered to post!
You have a great repertoire of farm gates and fences - I now know what American ranch entrances look like!
We have talked about doing a road trip through parts of the States, what an adventure that would be!
Thank you so much for hosting - I love this meme!
Enjoy your weekend - I imagine it's cold where you are!
