The neighbors' irises greet me from across the road as I pull out of the driveway.

T, that is just perfect! I love to see random clumps of Spring flowers! The Iris is one of my favourites. We have Daffodils growing wild along the medium of the freeway, that come up every year. It's a sure sign of the season around here!

Hi Tex, When I lived in Hunt County, TX, I found that Bearded Irises grew rather well there. Same in Crossville, TN if protected during really harsh winter. Have a super day tomorrow!
