Good Fences #117

I've recently shared a few new builds on the way to town. Here's a new "pull-in" - a tiny house was brought into a country lot clearing. I'm estimating it is under 300 square feet.
No gate at the drive, but there is a tiny section of fence back there to go with the tiny house. :)
Here's the link-up.

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.

Thank you!

Hello, Tex! I missed linking up last week so I am happy to be back today. I have been watching the Tiny House Nation, they seem to be very popular. I have not seen one with such a big lot, that is great. I would I could see inside this Tiny house. The porch looks cute. Thanks for hosting! Have a happy day and weekend ahead!

Tiny house living...doesn't quite seem to fit with Texas, but obviously someone is doing it. Cute little place for sure!

Tiny house; tine fence. A normal fence would overwhelm the house.

That's the cutest tiny house I've seen. It's a great way to get started on a big piece of land I think.

That's downsizing. I think i could move to 500, but wow, 300!! What a fun challenge that would be.

A tiny house in Texas - hey, I thought everything was bigger and better in Texas - lol. I think those are such cute houses! We have one not too far from us. Their original house burned down - so they built a tiny house - cute!

on one of the tiny house shows i saw a girl from texas who had just graduated college and was building a tiny house that her dad was going to sit on a large piece of his land! i could live in a tiny house if it was just me but not with another person...they sure make them stylish though...this one is cute!

I'm thinking it's either a weekend get-away place or a place in which to live while building a real house. You're going to have to keep an eye on the place and let us know if anything changes.

That is a little house! I once lived in a 300sqft apartment and it was big enough for me, but just barely. :-)

Chandra@GreenComotion said...

Small is okay, if that's all you need.
Nice setting and a great share.
I have lived in one a third the size of this and it was just fine.
Thanks for hosting, Theresa.
Have a Happy Week ahead.
Peace :)

these tiny houses are all the rage these days, i am forever watching the video tours on Facebook!! i dream of living in one because they are so cute, neat and organized but i am sure you would have to be single to do it. they are a good option for a lot of people though!!!

this looks like a sweet spot to plop one down, beautiful trees and lot's of shade....and that tiny fence, to match the tiny house!!!

Karen S. said...

Now that looks like it promises to be a very happy home for someone! What a lovely setting it has for all!

That's so cute. I've watched some of those on TV and wonder how you would feel after living in one for a while. But a great idea if you can do it. And such a great location for this one.

Dearest Theresa,
Such a tiny house might just work perfect and at times we all find that our place is big enough when having to take care of it!

I see the fence, I see the fence . . .
It looks tiny like the house . . .
Tiny Houses seem to be "the thing" right now . . .
I sometimes wonder how "tiny" I could go . . .
Being honest here, not sure if I could do 300 sq ft . . .
(After the Tiny House craze wears off, I wonder what will be next . . .?)

Neat. Tiny houses are the rage.
I found a fence to share with you. Actually it's the same 'ole one but a mew pic from this past Sunday. The cows were close to the road giving me a little subject! Thanks for the party. Nice to be back!

I've never understood why they don't just but a travel trailer or mobile home. Tiny houses are expensive for what you get.

That is a cute little house - I can imagine it as a vacation rental. I'd love to sit on the porch in the morning drinking my coffee or in the evening sipping my wine. Beautiful.

Love the color of it too amongst the trees!
Thanks again for hosting!

Those "Tiny" houses are becoming very popular for people wanting to minimalize their lives. Although I'm thinking maybe they are just going to live in this one while perhaps building a larger home? It's really cute and yep they do already have a fence.

All I would need there is a power point, for coffee making and to plug in the sewing machine, and it would be perfect. What a beautiful setting, peaceful, and trees to shelter in winter and shade in summer. I like it.

Those tiny houses fascinate me...think how cheap they would be to heat and cool. Of course, that wouldn't hold all my sewing stuff.
**********
Will share a Lorelei moment here. We were on the back porch, her with her cup of Sunny D...orange juice, and I with my cup of coffee. Her cup is a coffee cup she has claimed...it is as tall, and maybe a half inch talker than my mug, but skinnier.

She says, 'Look Mamaw! My cup is skinny and yours is fat........it's not nice to tell a person they're fat, but I can say that about a cup." This with this big smile on her face, and I agreed with her. Then she says, "Mamaw, you're not fat--you're just BIG!" She paused a second and said, "and tall."

A tiny house would be neat in nice weather when you could spend time outside. In a long spell of bad weather, I think it would feel very confining.

Thank you SO much for your thoughtful comments we always have. I especially appreciate your answer for the word 'post'(^_^)v I was a bit happy to know that my guess was right♡♡♡ Always happy to be able to solve these question, Dear friend.
My husband is still trying to do for my late parents house what he can do to look better. Repairing net window, painting weather door etc.; haha, just wishing his efforts will be rewarded. I did my first painting job p;-)

Sorry for my late comment and wishing you will have a nice weekend and coming new week.
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
