Good Fences #140 - The Final

*I am opening the link early to make it easier for U.S. folks to join in before family Thanksgiving feasts on Thursday*

Home...where the heart is...and the hay bales. :)

On this U.S. Thanksgiving Day, I am grateful to everyone who has participated in Good Fences, and for your faithful visits and comments - even those silent visits. Your friendship, your loyalty has been astounding. I wish blessings for each and every one of you.

As I announced last week, this is the last Good Fences link-in. No one has volunteered to take it over. Perhaps after the holidays someone will feel ready to host a fence photo link-up... Gosia at Looking for Identity has commented she would be willing to host, so check out her site in the future!

Find joy and beauty in each day. Be kind to one another. Be well. Fare well.
So long as the memory of certain beloved friends lives in my heart, I shall say that life is good. -Helen Keller

One last time, here's the link-up.

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.
THANK YOU - FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!

Hi Tex, Wow, I was just over at Eileen’s blog and saw the news about you. Came right over here and so sad to hear that this will be the final Good Fences. The meme will be missed but you will be missed MORE! I definitely consider you one of my early mentors in blogging. Thank you for all the help you gave me in the early days of John’s Island. You have always been an inspiration. Like Eileen said, I hope we will still see you around! I have been blogging now since 2011 but not nearly as much as you. In the last year or so I’ve struggled with how much time to spend on this. The trouble is, I love to blog but it can take up so much time! I wish you the best as you step away. Take good care and enjoy that wonderful Run*Around*Ranch!

I read that you were hanging up the Good Fences meme. It sounds like somebody might pick up the reins on it. I just want to say that I found to always be a good and generous blogger who visited and commented often and you are a great meme host. I did not link very often just simply because I host the Skywatch Friday post on the same day as your meme ran.

Good luck to you and I hope that you continue to keep your blog going. I know that it is a lot of work keeping a meme going.

Dearest Theresa,
Yes, our Thanksgiving was a perfect one.
We started with Mass at 9:00 AM and after I'd done some work on my sales on line for shipment the next day, we did leave for our best friends' place. They have adopted us as family and it always feels so good to be together with great food and lots of love.
I'd been baking some cashew meal cookies for taking as a hostess gift and also for keeping Pieter happy. I enjoy them too since I use the Coconut sugar and they're healthy.
Wishing you well, can't believe this is a goodbye... But I too struggle with work, singing and all the chores that come my way. Not enough hours in the day!
Sending you blessings and keep well; you're still young.
Hugs,
Mariette, Pieter and fur babies xxxxxxxx
